All the progamers that actually lasted had someone else, AFAIK -- elky/grrr (plus nazgul/etc at diff times), pj/lx, assem/leggionaire (plus some other guys who knew English on Hexatron/POS). I know for a fact it made it a lot easier on them (both game improvement wise and emotionally in general) to have someone to hang out/converse with. Maybe I'm just a girl, but going alone to a place where no one speaks English would be the most boring, stressful, irritating thing ever. I actually think its the opposite. Having another foreigner with you might only serve as a crutch and make it harder to become part of the team. Being alone also goes a long way in learning Korean that much faster as you are forced to learn it asap. With the right mindset, after the early adjustment period I'm sure testie will get over it emotionally. Besides, I'm sure CJ will have someone that speaks at least a little english there if this happens.

I totally agree with Skew. You cant make good results when you are handicapped by living in isolation. Your character have to be reeeealy strong to survive without going nuts. Draco thought he could make it but realized that it is not worth it. They should invite Mondi + Testie + Draco into one team but few years ago. Now the time of foreigners in pro sc:bw kor team is over.

The main point is just the motivation and i think this isnt really dependant of that, if you have it i'd say go for it... not many people get a chance for something like this ^_^

Living this experience can only be a good thing for someone, even if it's hard because of the language. Can't wait to have confirmation of this "rumour".

Testie is a smart guy, he knows all cons/pros so IF its true im just gonna say good luck and whats more important have fun.

He will most likely lose his aim after some time - feeling that he's walking in circles - and then he won't play SC with heart anymore. That will be his return to normal life, back home, finding a job, etc. Or in the worst case he will become another poker-freak... ![]() Everyone needs something where he can go back to at any moment in his life. I highly doubt Testie can break the rules of life, no matter how hard he tries.

I don't, but I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean, give the guy a break? I'm sure if he makes the decision to, he will give it his best shot.

beecause at WCG, Testie did absolutely horrible, 1-3'ing in the group (the forfeit win was his only win). But I suppose he was in the 'group of death'. So why would CJ jump aboard for another contract offer?
