Draco isn't a quitter, he had a whole lot of heart and a big dream. You just cannot judge until you are in his shoes.
He's an amazing guy and shouldn't be looked down upon when he has so many great traits about his character.
Living life like Draco does is something few people do, and it takes strength and courage to live like him. He always has my utmost respect.
I can agree. From what I saw, Draco looked like he had a lot of passion and concern inside of him during this WCG. The results don't tell you how much he truly cared. Another good trait was, at the end of the day, he's still able to have a good time and enjoy himself with others; despite earlier losses.
Congradulations to Testie in getting another offer. It's always a pleasure to see pro-StarCraft expand outside of its natural borders.

Testie is great an all, but I'd think Mondi would get an invite somewhere before him, or they both would.

i haven't read all the thread, but i'd really like to see him in korea no offence against draco, but imho testie has more potential than him.

Nice. Don´t worry,we will all cheer for you, Testie!

every year same thing comes up... i dont see how this is any different

Now the big question; Will Testie be Random or will he stick to a race? I think with his deep understanding of the game (probably deeper than most seeing as he can play all 3 races at such a high level), switching and committing to one race and then practicing it 10 hours a day may = the first successful non-korean in a long time.

well the thing is he can practice random with the members in the team. Savior plays alot of other races during practice. Its just on the big screen he will have to choose. He won't have to choose one race and play that one all day every day.

I don't imagine NaDa's random or sAviOr's random or iloveoov's random or YellOw's random is going to be weaker than Testie's random. Popular misconception that progamers only play their race. It's not just sAviOr that practices both sides of a matchup. he's the only one that's crazy enough to do it on TV for a relatively important match.
That being said, I think Testie racepicking would be interesting, and viable.

Testie will always choose P in the most important games it seems, he's not really random anymore unless he thinks he can dominate you with any race, he'll pick his race to give him the best chance, for example, he'll always choose Zerg against Bandit because he knows he has a much higher chance of beating him ZvP than he does with P or T.

ehhh gl but i think testie may be over the hill a bit =\

Just for interests sake, wasn't there someone (ChRh perhaps) who was #3 on KeSPA rankings back in about 2002/2003 with random. I'm not sure if my memory is playing tricks on me now, but I remember seeing that. It was the time sAviOr started getting somewhere with IPXZerg, he wasn't #1 yet, but he was high, so it's probably after 2003 then...

i believe he was terran user btw the first TV game of nada is vs chrh on LT tvt game

Didn't savior start pushing up the ranks in 2005?

Yeh, I might be confusing two different things that caught my attention. So ignore the sAviOr part, I think I just remember IPXZerg climbing the ranks without me really knowing who he was, and me being happy because a Zerg finally did something.

That is the closest I can find to what I am thinking of, ChRh #5 on KeSPA rankings. Now just for someone to confirm whether he ever played random or not!
And good luck Testie! Take that random to #1!

ChRh switched to Terran in early 2002 because random didn't have its major advantages after then.

Always funny to see that everybody else knows better what he might do or not, better as himself :D
