The guy hasen't evolved his knowledge since Starcraft 2 came out.
He has zero analytical insight of what is happening in every game.
He only tells the most obvious things, that any person could see.
He is always eating, drinking or coughing while casting.
I'll give him that he is a good play by play commentator, but is very clear that he doesent do any research of his own, or attempts to learn the game necessary to provide insightful commentary.
Now he has started ruining proleague as well. The duo Wolf - Valdes is a million times better than Tasteless - Valdes or whoever.
Its not so bad in the GSL, but that is only because of Artosis who is clearly the superior caster.
When artosis is asking him which build he thinks player x will use, you can just hear he is guessing and has nothing to say to back it up.

Tastossis is the only reason i watch starcraft 2.No one is on there level of casting and this is not gonna change in the future.They are the perfect combination of educational and relaxing/casual/funny cast.There is no Tastossis without Tastless.
Hopefully they will cast more Starcraft 1 / Broodwar in the future.

I think Tasteless has the intangible qualities of being entertaining and well known(as a caster and ex player of starcraft). To some extent, he is like Boxer or Huk where we will always want him to be in the scene because we like him and what he represents.

I don't need a caster to spoonfeed me information. That's what the game's dedicated observer is for. I can use my own eyes and my own brain.
I really can't stand casters who are "experts". That kind of style is better suited for an analysis desk.
In casting, I look for charismatic entertainment, human connection (tastosis bromance and comedy), and the ability to entertain outside of the game with a fun personality.

Sadly, I think being a hardcore try-hard is the target player for SC2 right now. If you aren't, you will have a lot of trouble enjoying the game in it's current state.
