Beginning Monday, July 2nd, we will no longer allow any advertisements in the Group Finder for in-game services such as carries or boosts, including those being offered in exchange for in-game gold. The Group Finder is intended for -- as the name suggests -- finding groups, and these advertisements make it difficult to find active groups that are currently being formed. Additionally, these are often used as a cover for real-money sales, particularly given that in-game gold cannot be transferred cross-realm. Note that this does not change our policy on selling things such as raid carries for in-game gold. Those are still allowed, but should be advertised through realm-specific methods such as trade chat. We’ll be adding an “advertisement” option to the Group Finder’s right-click reporting function with Patch 8.0, but in the meantime, they can be reported using the “spam” option. Thank you for your understanding, and for helping us keep the Group Finder clear of unwanted advertisements." Party time! Some guys managed to 3-man argus normal by cheesing the (de)buff on P1 not being removed when you reset the boss. They got 55 stacks on the hunter and he did 15m DPS through the whole P1, getting #1 argus normal log in the world by 900k. Any tips on a dps class with nice utility? Something for keys where mobs live a little. Already have a DH, so 1 aoe cc is nice. I'm thinking monk or druid, such versatile classes, but how are the "pures" holding up? | ||

Now I've been tanking, and it seems tanks has next to zero carry impact. I'm not talking 18+ keys, not even 15. + Show Spoiler + Tanks can hard carry legion M+ at the most rewarding levels, the DPS are just along for the ride to speed things up. They have some of the most control and knowledge requirements but after that i'd say a DPS with good sustain and control (interrupts, cc) is highly impactful, e.g. blood/veng + havoc/afflis is a great 2-3 man comp for 15's in legion. You should read through BFA changes, the legion to BFA change is huge for most specs with the loss of artifacts & legendaries + some being reworked. Tank design has changed notably. Druids are doing pretty fine, can't say much about monks | ||

Better question is why would you believe someone whining on a forum? Hopefully you don't do that when you're watching or reading the news I hope? :^) If it's a false positive it's almost always corrected, as indicated in the 2nd post. Accidents happen and as long as they are corrected it is fine. They are just trying to keep their game clean and I'm glad they are taking steps to do so. Could care less about some random that is most likely guilty and just trying to save face to his friends/community/whatever. | ||

Blizzard rarely bans without reason but it happens. If so you email them to appeal it. 99.9% of people complaining "I got falsely banned" are lying. | ||

When it gets there they apologise, fix it for a few people, say that this is super duper rare and never happens and then they do it again 5 months later and abuse the next set of customers as well. There is an ongoing, systematic problem here that is not being addressed. There's a huge difference between something that happens once or twice and then everybody gets a year of gametime and an apology for the inconvenience while new safeguards are put in place vs something that happens over and over again for 5 years without meaningful change as a result of cost cutting measures and a gross lack of respect for the consumer. That guy did everything right, he didn't deserve to get that shit. There's no excuse for Blizzard to lie to somebody about their appeal and refuse to talk to them after they've been falsely banned. That may just be an opinion of mine which other people don't share but i've thought a lot about it over the years and i value it deeply. | ||

I did read both posts in full, I'm not sure what you're upset about. The 2nd guy got the error corrected, the first guy will either have his overturned or he wont. There is nothing to be 'up in arms about' as there is no problem with their customer service, it is working as intended. I'd rather an attempt be made at a clean game than none at all. | ||

---- Some guys managed a +30 in time, great for them. The first and possibly the only +30 in time in all of Legion. There might be some more over the weekend - we'll have concordance 85 before reset - if not then next week is tyrannical and the one after is most likely prepatch. --- Prepatch 17'th+18'th confirmed, looks like those guys have got it! ;D last weapon ding was 10.5 hours so it'll max out around sunday | ||

I see there is a new expansion coming out in August and since i mainly play hearthstone on my phone I wanna play something else casually from time to time. Unfortunately when Legion came out altho I think there were some nice cool features on it I havent managed to play it and didnt really bother with it so Im stuck with level 100 still. My question is. Is the game still populated? What server could someone recommend? Is there a friendly casual guild I could join? Any particular class that would be in high demand? I remember back in vanilla priests were on high demand by guilds. Cyro ur quite active and knowledgable on the game? What server/guild do u play on? are you hardcore or casual? Is it worth spending money for the new expansion? What are the main key features u except it to have that will keep u hooked up.Ive also spent time alot on private vanilla servers doing mostly pvp and owning up the ranks when i used to play hardcore (ex rank 13 on private server and also on official :D flex). Any ETA on official vanilla servers ? Oh and one last question? If i start playing legion till BFA hits, do I HAVE to do some quests or something? I heard about some artifact stuff, some pvp stuff like powers and I dont know what to do. PS: I probably will only do PVP. | ||

You wouldn't have a problem finding a group to anything esp if you're a healer. - Vanilla Servers are coming along. But it'll be here late 2019 the EARLIEST. That's hard to answer. I still play every expansion casually and Legion had me hooked on two separate occasions for few months. I feel like it's been the best expansion in a very long time. - To your last question, next week on the 17th, pre-patch of the BFA is going to hit the live servers which has content to do for the upcoming expansion. Right now there really isn't anything you HAVE to do, but there are pre-expansion quests available. I cannot really answer any PvP questions, since I don't play PvP.
