This could have easily been avoided by Idra simply answering the admin with some respect. While I admit this probably wasn't the greatest reason to kick him from the tournment I think we can all agree it is much nicer to play when everyone is mannered. I'm unable to download some reps if someone could take some pics of the fist Discussion plz

Add to that having everyone in the tournament hate you, as well as documented douchebaggery within the very evidence you try to save yourself with, and you have someone who should not have a chance at $50 that was submitted for a friendly, nice tournament. I thought about this too. Insulting an admin for a tournament can be thought of as being equivalent to insulting a referee during a game, which does warrant disciplinary action. However, even with this taken into account along with my experience with IdrA's bm directed towards me, I would have to say that there needs to be some sort of agreement made with Osiris (perhaps an apology on both sides would be appropriate, or something to that nature?)

I'll respond to these point by point. 1. Neither impaling women on spikes, shooting up tanks or launching nukes are allowed in real life. Don't try and apply real life standards to a fucking computer game. I highly doubt that any of these "e-thugs" have as much of an ego IRL as they do on bnet. 2. Time is money. Also, there is a 50 dollar prize awarded to the winner which is a fair sum of money for a small tournament like this one. I'd be pissed if I were someone like Idra with a good chance of winning the tournament. 3. This could have been easily avoided if the admin had any knowledge of how to run a fair tourney and ignore his personal feelings towards a player. "While I admit this probably wasn't the greatest reason to kick him from the tournment I think we can all agree it is much nicer to play when everyone is mannered." If all the raindrops were lemondrops and gumdrops oh, what a rain that would be! Wishful thinking, bud. BUT Teh InTErNeTz is Seriouszs business!

If this is true, then the admin didn't disqualify Idra for his bad manners. Idra was disqualified for supposedly not playing his match. This could be disproven by showing the replays. The end.

You won the games, congrats. You should be able to move on in this tournament. However, if I were organizing any other tournaments in the BW community, I would be sure not to invite you. You are an arrogant fag who thinks that bw skill = all. Your lack of manner is embarassing, and was only made worse by your opponents class in this situation. Enjoy your 50 bucks, because you just traded another chunk of your already inferior image for it.

Otherwise, it's not fair if BM caused idra to be kicked out. There's a reason there are rules. A lot of you have been speaking as if common sense should prevail here. But the rules are what should prevail. If the rules said BM is not allowed, idra should have been kicked out plain and simple. Otherwise, (which I think is the case) maybe next time the rules can be changed.

In a team sport, if one person insults a ref, that person is punished (usually not by throwing him out of a game, but by a technical foul or something, which serves as a warning). The team isn't DQed for one person insulting a ref. However, if in a big boxing match (a 1v1 sport... actually make that a UFC MATCH!!!) a ref DQed a boxer because the boxer insulted him the ref would immediately lose his job and would never be allowed to participate in the sport ever again. If you made a rule saying GM was required... it would a retarded rule and your tournament would suck. Idra, you got screwed.
