i havent watched foreign bw in such a long time, tuning in tmr for sure

I'll be late for that, most likely 19:30. Hope spx can wait!
|
Hey kogeT, it's going to be played and live streamed one by one, so I think there is no problem if you come 19.30, since you are in second match.

That is stated nowhere so I hope this is a joke. You can't expect the players of the last sets to wait through all previous games especially with no announcement beforehand.

First time I hear it, although makes sense.

Why not? The first round looked like it. In #1 states 'March 06 - Play-offs (RO8 and if time permits, RO4)'. How can time not permit if before ro4 is only one bo3 played by everyone? Because there are four bo3's played one by one, being live streamed. You can always play other games or watch stream before your match comes in.

In the first round the play system was clearly stated (i.e swiss system), so naturally everyone should know, it will take a while, whereas stating "if time permits" does not tell you anything about the time schedule. It can mean the organizer has to go somewhere 1 hour later. Also what if players have to go like 2 hours after the scheduled time, do you disqualify them because they showed up on time?

Many tournaments so far that I watched that had a quarterfinals onwards had a match played one at time and that was perfectly normal. I don't know why people are freaking out because of this format. Isn't this not normal?
The only thing that's stopping us from playing the whole tournament is because many of the players are from europe which I think is around 9pm their time but its the weekend so im sure the time wouldn't matter as much.
All I'm saying if it the tournament happens to go past like 3:00 AM then we can just finish it the next day. If we can do the finals in 2 hours sure let's do that. but if one match just happens to take like 3 hours then we probably couldn't.
