Welcome to The Hot Seat, a King of the Hill showmatch series hosted by JoRoSaR and facilitated by DingIt.

Each week we will be inviting players to compete in a Best-of-9, winner-takes-all for a showmatch that results in the winners building a bounty and playing for a larger prize pool the next time around!

Dingit allows us to produce HD streams using 20-50% less bandwidth, 4-6secs stream delay, nearly no buffering and a host of other advantages. Full Details of how our technology works can be found HERE!

Using stream acceleration, we provide the highest quality video in the industry, through the use of advanced protocols and resilient stream coding technology.

Benefits of watching eSports on Dingit:

- DingIt uses 20-50% less bandwidth to show the same quality as other streaming sites, meaning more people can watch at higher qualities!
- Buffering is massively reduced
- See the action live - only 4-6 seconds stream delay as standard
- No Pre-roll adverts on eSports events - never miss the action
- NEW (active from end of February) Instant rewind of live streams, rewind up to 60 mins while stream is still live!

The format is Bo9. The map list is as follows:

Expedition Lost
Overgrowth LE
Secret Spring
Vaani Research Station
Catallena LE
Deadwing LE
Inferno Pools

Game 1: Starting map decided by vetoes (coinflip to determine who vetoes first).

Games 2-7: Loser of the previous game picks from remaining maps in the map pool.

Games 8-9: If there is a Game 8 (i.e. score is 4-3), a new round of map vetoes begins. The player who vetoed second before the start of the showmatch, vetoes first this time. We veto down to 3 maps. Player on the lower score picks the map for Game 8. If there is a game 9, the losing player picks between the two remaining maps.

Example: Score is PartinG 3-4 Life and the 3 maps after Game 8 vetoes are Overgrowth, Catallena & Deadwing...PartinG picks Overgrowth for Game 8, and if there is a Game 9, Life can choose between Catallena & Deadwing.

The above rule allows for players to focus on the maps they are most familiar with, when the match gets down to the final few all-important games.

Our showmatch series starts at a bounty of $150. The winner stays on to play next week, and $75 gets added to the bounty next time around. If a challenger defeats the King of the Hill, they take that player's bounty and start from $150 the following week as they begin to build a bounty of their own!

If Harstem wins, he claims the bounty of $225 on Petraeus, and next week plays for $150 as he attempts to build a bounty of his own.

If Petraeus wins, he takes home $225 and his bounty increases to $300 next week for our next challenger!

The prize fund each week is (currently) capped at a maximum of $375 (four wins), but may increase in the future.

So is your logic to stream without delay because you trust nobody would stream cheat, or is it backed by the fact you know nobody will download the player to watch the stream? ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ

Or, if there is a need (due to it being a live online event) there is the option to add stream delay.

Or, the 4-6 second delay from broadcaster to streamer is something the tech can boast about and is better performance than elsewhere, and that has nothing to do with the stream delay during the event itself which is 3 minutes because people are sensible? ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ノ

VODs available on Dingit.tv for a week after the event, then a few days after that they'll also be available on YouTube. Week 1's will be online in the next day or two, similar timeframe for this one.
