Sonic's own brand, SBENU, will sponsor HongGameNet TV for the next three months, a period which may be further extended based on viewer feedback. HOGN's previous season gained a lot of attraction on Afreeca and Larva worked with Sonic before, so this seems like a wise investment from the Boss who is currently focused on business and SSL preparations.

With Sonic recently contracting IU for SBENU modelling and performing at the SSL finals, moving his office and opening shops all over the country, his business seems to be expanding agressively. Many of us dreamt of a billionaire who would come to save Brood War. Sonic started with a small room packed with shoes but he is apparently busy becoming that hero.

Since Korean KOTHs work like: You get 3 or 5 sucessive kills and get prize or we just keep going the next day, I think "Killer of the Hill" is more appropriate. But maybe someone knows another proper name for this format?

Its an incredible success story, being able to grow a shoe empire through supporting the game that you love. He already has 23 stores in korea. I wonder how big Sonic and SBENU will be in a few years time ^^

Man, despite not really following BW after the Kespa players left, it's really shocking how much Sonic has single-handedly done for the BW scene. I'm really glad to see him do so much for BW and be successful. Next time I'm in Korea, I'll be sure to buy everything that's remotely associated with him.

Yeah we had an event for HiyA vs GuemChi. I suppose it was not an ex-proteam battle then, maybe just random 6 bjs? Either way, tomorrow should be more fun. We may need more PPL with calendar rights cuz keeping track of 3 sponleagues while changing streams and updating events with a 64KBs mobile would be difficult to do even if I were to sit on the toilet at work for an hour straight.
