You are right. Most kespa teams don't send their players to foreign events exept Samsung...
As for IEM Toronto and DH Stochholm it was basicly because of WCS points taht some players went there.
If soO hadn't gone to Stocholm he wouldn't have enough points to qualify for Blizzcon. 3150 points, 50 points less than Jaedong.

Went to IEM Sao Paulo iirc, where he got eliminated by ABomB (I think?). I believe he also went to an event this summer, don't remember which though (the DH in which Sjaak made a splash?)
