I got 3-0 stomped by a masters terran in the ro8 after beating Jakethesnake in the ro16. In that sees I almost lost to a proxy thor rush. Of course I had to play protoss since I was representing Duckdeok, but still. Was pretty embarrassing, but everybody is really nice about it and its all in good fun Lol, my match against Undead was sick. First game, 6 minute bunker rush. Second game, BC rush under the watchtower loses to mothership rush. Third game, mass ravens loses to proxy tempests Then in the next season of LRSL I played Seeker in my first match and get absolutely roflstomped 2-0 in horribly one sided games. i made some very embarrassing mistakes too. Then I start winning against terrane who I have no business beating and come within one game of advancing, only to find out that none of those games were streamed. RIP my reputation I faced Jer99 in a TvT in cloud kingdom, which led to the #1 worst EMP of all time
Lol your games were pretty lopsided, but you make the so entertaining. i just play standard and get rolled by the superior players standard play. That is until I went full TSL and almost made the ro16

how the fuck do yall play without a mouse? i'm on a laptop too but playing without a mouse seems impossible!

Haha. First game I tried a proxy hatchery and died to one reaper, then in the second game I went nuke rush, which of course was scouted due to a fail SCV, and I dropped his main with a ghost. A raven immediately flew over, so I ran my ghost under the raven and EMP'd them both.
I eventually turtled to mass BC but he nuked my entire main ala Mvp vs TOP

Idk man, I even have a really hard time just on a laptop. my wrist positioning is all messed up. right now my setup is my laptop connected to my TV as the monitor. Then I have my keyboard and mouse hooked up so it's like a normal desktop experience.

I was kinda sad because so many people didn't show up to the ro16. i would have gladly subbed in but instead they just did walkovers/3 man round robin groups

I'm not disputing that in any way, but I'm just looking at the situation and thinking "how on God's green not-actually-all-that-green Earth can you do that?" And apparently, it just works. More power to the man, because that's the kind of weirdness I'd want to have in a showmatch - something to fill downtime during a tournament, just have a quick showmatch between 2 eliminated players and make them both use trackpads.

I just got used to it, it took a while for me to figure out how I was supposed to use a mouse after not using one for years
