Ontopic: Ekii has lied in the past, however, SunCow has always been bad mannered, I have always put him with the rest of the people in the channel: Clan X17 on East. Always bad mannered, and always saying "55-0 I own u NOOB" ummm... that's not very mannered. If he was any more mannered, and bathed, atleast once a day, I'm sure he could of atleast became a training partner for Pro Gamers. He got a lot better over the summer. What he did was STUPID (if he really is in jail) and it's not funny at any time to see someone in jail, even if they do deserve it.

LOL this is alot.
To get such a high sentence while being under 21 u must have done something really terrible :
- You must be involved in massive/professional drug dealing. ( probably making about 100.000$ + / year)
- U must murder someone
- U must beat up --several--- people so hard that they become a case for nursing care.
- rape at least 10 different premature girls 200 times.
come one..... u dont get 5 years for beating someone up,stealing in a store,dealing some cannabis.
I know one 17year old "friend" who is a little criminal ...
caught steeling things in warehouses 4 times , caught cannabis dealing several times, caught being involved in heavy brawls
caught doing 50.000$ damage by spraying public facilities...
First he only got some hours of social work. then after he got caught sveral otehr times
he got kicked out of his school and then some more social work. when he was caught again T_T he got 1 year on probation while having to do social work for 100 hours.
To get 5 years of jail u have to do some MOnster shit >_<

First of all, in Poland there is no difference if someone is above 18. Legal responsibility is the same for an 18-year old as for a 21-year old. This is not Texas 
Second of all, if you are on probation and commit a similar crime for the second time, the sentence tends to be very strict. You do not have to do anything that bad to get jailed long-time then.
Still, I think this story is a bit blown-up. Unless SunCow had an arrest warrant on him when he was leaving for Korea, it's hard to imagine he would be sentenced during one week, when in Poland courts take even one year to reach a verdict. There is a possibility he was arrested, but I won't believe the 5-year period unless I see some confirmation.
The fact is, we don't know anything for sure. Everything is just rumors. The only facts are that SunCow arrived in Poland, wasn't present at WCG offline finals and hasn't been heard from ever since. Everything else is just rumors and speculations.

Yup, either he left Poland with a warrent on his back or he just got nailed for something stupid and is gonna get mad in 48h when he will see the gg.net news or a little more mad in 3 months... ;p or thats totaly fucked up shit and its completely untrue... We will see, stay tuned, every day news about global terrorism is nothing compared to starcraft news :p

Honestly though. If I may get serious for a moment. Sometimes people have untreatable problems. What they need aren't solutions, but rather assistance.
To rek: (for saying he responded to Suncow with advice) When you give advice you assume the position of power. You assume the position of "the wise" and it makes the other person feel powerless. You've acknowledged (yourself) that Suncow had self-esteem issues and such. Hence, does it make sense to you to advise him or to sit there and be someone he can talk to. SOmeone he can talk with, rather than someone, liek everyone else in his life, who judges him and provides "advice". Sometimes it all people need is for someone else to "pick them up". They don't need advice (even though it may seem so), but someone who will listen and will allow them to talk through their problems. This is how therapists do it.
Now, I'm not saying you're a therapist or that anyone had responsibilities towards Suncow, but one day, when it happens to you, when no one is listening and everyone's advising, then, maybe then, you'll understand Suncow.
Shame on all of you for laughing.

if he went to jail, most likely he deserved it unless the justice system in poland is corrupt? but even then why would they pick on suncow of all people.
anyway, if he is indeed in jail, what can you do other then laugh? its not like he did alot for the community anyways like Nazgul or Pat, etc..
