On this picture you see some who did go to Crimea probably because of publicity for them. Many other parliamentarians did not go. Anti-putin propaganda, that's why rt.com proudly quoted exactly those people.

So fracking in the Ukraine is the "best" the big US-oil/gas companies can hope for! But to be fair: I also always hate those "green" people, that vote for more solar and wind power ... and when there are plans to build a solar/wind plant near them they are the first to petition against them, because of the view and it will lower the value of their property (many green supports are quite wealthy middle class)! But while I think all this is quite important in this whole Ukrainian "mess", we get a little off topic here! ![]() Like you said this is pretty much no different from rich US liberals living in Massachusetts who don't want wind farms off Cape Cod and have fought tooth and nail - and successfully - to keep them from being constructed. Rich people are all for their pet projects - industrial or environmentalist - as long as they aren't in their backyard.

There were also others there not shown on the picture. That picture is a press conference, hardly our fault if they only invite neonazis there. Edit: not to mention that those also are the people commonly quoted and cited in every russian media (no, NO other voice other than those names), so i kinda am weirded out by what you're trying to say. That picture speaks for itself, as much as you might not like it.

didn't germany say they were mislead by the U.S. on iraq etc. if you expect them to not be allies or publicly denounce the U.S. as in a civ5 game, then that's a silly standard to have for criticism.

Global poverty was cut in half in the last 20 years. It has also witnessed the rising economic/geopolitical/territorial power of countries like: China Brazil India Indonesia The Philippines Vietnam Venezuela Colombia Poland Turkey I guess this was somehow accomplished despite the West and its democracy bullshit making poorer countries their economic slaves and political/territorial vassals. so are you implying that the referendum was all a fraud and Crimean people have nothing to do with the current situation? that question has little to do with putin inviting a bunch of neo-nazis and other fascists to stand in front of the cameras for some kremlin propaganda as you know full well it's just misdirection on your part
