I want to clarify that 100 mbit is not uncommon in Europe. Costs ~ $25 / month. A 100 mbps connection is fairly exceptional as far as I'm aware in the US, especially at the rate of $25 a month (many ISPs don't even offer it at all, and a quick google search of various providers in the US shows prices of $100+ per month being far more typical). You're dismissive of R1CH's statement that 20 mbps or lower connections are common among home users, and maybe that's the case where you live, but certainly not here. I'd guess the majority of American streamers do not have a 100 mbps connection, and very likely do not have the option of getting one (either because it's not available through their ISP or it's beyond their practical budget). | ||

What more to you need? Either you accept the expertise of people who are known for being experts in their field, or you don't. Demanding proof be provided in a form that you will accept is not an argument. You are just demanding something from people and you will decide when they have provided it. | ||
