Also, professional just means it's something you do as your main source of income. The reason "professional" is often heard as a way to talk about proper conduct is because when you work for somebody, you're representing them and will lose your job if you act in a way different than what the employer intended (and if you're self employed you'll lose business by way of disgruntled customers). Your headline is about professionalism, but in the piece you only mention professionalism in your last line. Your ideas in each paragraph are very loosely connected and don't offer much in the way of discussion or information. Some lines are unrelated to the surrounding lines, such as " It seems as the years go by, more people are spoiled in the high tech and liberal world than ever." You even had the line "The point you make never stands ground the minute you lose control" and immediately after start insulting people. I'm all for everyone acting nice to each other, but it just wasn't a good piece of writing and there's not much to discuss. | ||
