(narcissism means he cant stop himself). He probably didn't actually see the interviews in which the others criticized him.

I swear Trump is turning into the 30IQ callers that come out of left field when you're listening to sports talk radio. He's taking the biggest Ls when it comes to sports related topics.

Who goes to Trump rallies in Alabama? What do they want to clap for? What do they want to hear? Who do they hate? You know the answers to all these questions and so does Trump. When he says to that crowd "get these sons of bitches off the field", nothing is lost on his audience. The Alabama Trumpkin wants black players to shut up and play ball for their amusement. Talk of disparate impacts in policing is just more MLCOON nonsense.
EDIT: FOX is really reaching to reformulate Trump's grievous errors here. Trump is specifically attacking black players for speaking out. Reformulating it into disrespecting the flag is the perfect recast give the excuse to authoritarian whites that somehow this isn't about race.
EDIT2: Trump is still at it. Prediction: Trump keeps this up for a few days and in two weeks Tom Brady himself takes a knee out of solidarity.

Hey guys - it is SUCH a big deal that Kaeernick took a knee - we all need to flip the fuck out and get him banned from the NFL.
|
Ironic when not so long ago people had fought fervently to defend the rights of Nazis to march, and spread their message. A genuinely peaceful protest takes place, and they're told to get back in line, salute the flag exactly when and how they're supposed to, and entertain the masses. Because that's not a slippery slope.
|
Trump mentioning Kaepernick's name at the Alabama rally is a great example of dog whistle politics in action.
|
He picked the perfect time to relight the fire amongst players - the day right before most of the league has a game this week.

I guarantee you that Trump threw a fit that this got 10x the retweets than anything he ever posts.

Awesome statement of unity, freedom, and equality. Well done, GSW.

For someone who cares about getting high ratings as a quality so much, Trump sure likes to pick fights with people more popular then him. First hollywood, now sports stars. Its not a fight you can win. Its not a smart play. So the only explanation for him doing it is pure unaltered jealousy.
Also it's pathetic that he as president openly calls for someone to lose their livelyhood for not 'respecting the flag and country' while he condones Erdogans goons beating up US citizens

Which happened for, what I've heard, 3 or 4 times already.

The Warriors can fuck off (and I'm a fan of theirs). For months they have been openly and publicly discussing whether they're going to go to the White House. Stated another way, for months they have been openly and publicly giving Trump the finger. What exactly did they think was going to happen? My only surprise is that Trump waited as long as he did to disinvite them.

I really don't understand either why a bunch of mostly black guys would want to give the finger to a dude surfing on a white supremacist wave who refuses to condemn a KKK leader, appoints a hardcore biggot who wants to put even more (black) people in jail as Attorney General and defends folks marching and chanting with neo nazis.
Shit is so weird these days.

Don't forget pardoned someone famous for their rampant and flagrant abuses of PoC's rights. But yeah, it's tarps on statues that is the very dangerous slippery slope and racism isn't a big deal in the US today.

We just have to accept the fact that we elected a man whose inner soul is that of one of those super sweet 16 reality show girls.

Apparently the staff isn't watching DJT today? These are the crybabiest snowflake tweets I have ever seen. xDaunt going to have his work cut out today trying to spin DJT's meltdown onto libs somehow. Those mean old GSWarriors, triggering never-at-fault-grown-ass-man DJT.

It'd be great if they both shut up. No reason for a sports team to go the White House, no reason for it to be public debate, no reason for players to talk about it, and no reason for Trump to take to twitter about it.
