On the one hand, this does seem par for the course for Obama shitting on things on his way out. On the other hand, I'm not sure that Netanyahu would do anything other than give Obama the finger since he's responsible for that UN matter and Obama is on the way out.

No idea. The potential motives for this are a head-scratcher.

This has caused much alarm on social media, but experts from the non partisan Campaign Legal Center told LawNewz.com that this type of FEC letter isn’t entirely unusual — in fact, Hillary Clinton got one herself just last month! WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama announced Thursday he is ending a longstanding immigration policy that allows any Cuban who makes it to U.S. soil to stay and become a legal resident. The repeal of the "wet foot, dry foot" policy is effective immediately. The decision follows months of negotiations focused in part on getting Cuba to agree to take back people who had arrived in the U.S. "Effective immediately, Cuban nationals who attempt to enter the United States illegally and do not qualify for humanitarian relief will be subject to removal, consistent with U.S. law and enforcement priorities," Obama said in a statement. "By taking this step, we are treating Cuban migrants the same way we treat migrants from other countries. The Cuban government has agreed to accept the return of Cuban nationals who have been ordered removed, just as it has been accepting the return of migrants interdicted at sea." The Cuban government praised the move. In a statement read on state television, it called the signing of the agreement "an important step in advancing relations" between the U.S. and Cuba that "aims to guarantee normal, safe and ordered migration." Obama is using an administrative rule change to end the policy. Donald Trump could undo that rule after becoming president next week. He has criticized Obama's moves to improve relations with Cuba. But ending a policy that has allowed hundreds of thousands of people to come to the United States without a visa also aligns with Trump's commitment to tough immigration policies. Source

That said, the Clinton letter is 11 pages of questionable donations, while the Trump one is 35. So it's somewhat silly to equate them. Ultimately it's irrelevant, though it does show there was probably more donation handling incompetence on the Trump team (shockingly!!!!).

I would be surprised if anything long-term came of the pro-Russian sentiment of Trump. He will probably make some headway and possibly end sanctions eventually, but I don't see that he's someone who understands what a real detente with Russia would look like. Sooner or later, there will come a time when Russia will forcefully and aggressively enforce its interests in a way that is very problematic for the US - and that will lead us right back to where we are now. Though there are enough people who understand that nothing good can come of even worse relations with Russia right now.

They come to Miami, and think the government owes them so much. Live off the government assistance and do nothing with their lives. It's sad and needs to be ended with. While some do try to get something done, and off government assistance but that number is low compared to the abusers. I mean, the U.S has done so much, and the families here have done so much as well. Either Cubans need to stand up, and reform their own country from the inside or stay under a dictatorship.
