I hate both of them, I was only one (that I saw) to answer "neither" on the "who are you rotting for" question.
But the categories are ok, no need to have too many. Just need a "they both sucked" option.

Given what I know of what I perceive to be reality, Trump really fucked up some attack lines.
But I think so many of the people whose opinions are malleable at this point don't know what I know that those attack lines probably played well. The thing about her Senatorship is a good example here.

Not on any of the things independents care about. Just the Russia policy which plays into the Putin's buddy angle. And overall that just looks really bad-especially juxtaposed with his other Russia comments after the U.S. formally accused them.

Trump did significantly better than the last debate. He had the upper hand during the first 45 minutes or so especially.
The problem is that the bar was set really, really low by the last debate. He had the upper hand during the first part of the debate because Hillary could never look good in a shit-slinging contest; if she tries to yell over him or get down in the mud, people will just think badly of her, whereas we expect Trump to do it.
Like last time though, Trump continued to look worse and worse as the night went on. His policy answers were awful, he repeatedly demonstrated complete ignorance about how both the government and the economy work, he repeatedly interrupted Clinton and whined and argued with the moderators, he continued to blatantly lie about countless things that can readily be fact-checked, and he almost never answered the question. Hillary took him to town on actual policy-related answers and looked significantly more calm and composed for the entire debate.
First debate: 80:20 Hillary. 2nd Debate: 55:45 Hillary.
I don't think there's a chance in hell that Trump could get a poll bump from this debate. Too many sound bites and pictures that will make him look bad in the next few media cycles, particularly when he said that he hasn't talked to Pence and that he disagrees with him. At absolute best, Trump marginally outperformed Clinton in the eyes of the public, but it will probably be swayed by how the media portrays the debate: there weren't many (if any) really good lines or sound bites digging into Clinton, whereas there were still quite a few that can look bad for Trump. His performance probably looked a lot better to his supporters, but I highly doubt that it would sway any undecided voters.

does everyone in the audience have disposable film cameras??

Euros are laughing at you even having Trump as a candidate. He has a pew poll with single digit support amongst Europeans.

Hillary should just release another ad with Trump countering half of Pence's responses from the VP debate.

Wholeheartedly agree with this.

You think Farage's debate coaching made a difference in this one?
|
Trump didn't really have any strong responses but Hillary couldn't bait him into a frenzy. Hillary's responses were by far more composed and well-substantiated. Trump would respond without any substance and turn it into an attack on Hillary. When Hillary had a good response it sounded very strong but she couldn't follow it up with more strong responses. Trump just randomly has strong sentences and then goes back into rambling.
I guess that's a win for Trump? Isn't that just sad?

This post debate show has talked about trump for every single fucking talking point. been 20 minutes

I got the feeling Trump rolled over Hillary for the first part and won solidly the rest, but I'm too biased to judge.
He does seem to be back fully on the race though?

Third party voters like me don't really support either candidate.

Ultimately I think Trump won, he came out looking better. Clinton didn't look particular bad though, she was more neutral. All Trump really had to do in this was stop the surge of people abandoning him.

Good thing we don't have any third parties at the debate, they might gain support!
