Did anyone seriously expect ground breaking news? seriously? Has every wikileak dud publication this entire election not shown you that the guy has nothing?
Just more Assange ego tripping to try and claim he is relevent by giving people straws to grasp at.

Just more Assange ego tripping to try and claim he is relevent by giving people straws to grasp at. I'd say that 95% of people here didn't expect it will be anything ground breaking so...

Washington (CNN)The vast majority of registered voters view paying taxes as a "civic duty," including 79% of Donald Trump's supporters, according to a new poll.
Nearly all registered voters surveyed -- 86% -- say they see paying taxes as every American's civic duty, while 12% say that they see taxes as an unnecessary burden to be avoided, according to a CNN/ORC poll released Monday.
Most of the interviews from the poll were completed before Saturday night's report from The New York Times that revealed Trump might have avoided income taxes for the last 18 years after declaring a $916 million loss in 1995.
The Times did not look at Trump's federal return. It obtained one page of his New York State resident income tax returns as well as the first page of New Jersey and Connecticut nonresident returns. CNN has not independently verified the documents' authenticity, but Trump's campaign has not challenged any of the facts reported by The Times.
Before The Times report, Hillary Clinton raised questions during the first presidential debate about whether Trump had paid income tax in some years, which Trump didn't deny.
In fact, he said: "That makes me smart."
The poll also found that 73% of registered voters surveyed think Trump should release his tax returns for public review, including about half of Republicans at 49%.
And out of the voters surveyed, 57% believe that Trump is hiding something by not releasing his tax returns while 33% believe that he's holding back due to the audit -- although Trump is allowed to release his tax returns regardless of the audit.
The findings from the leaked tax returns threatened to put the controversy over Trump's unprecedented refusal to release them as the focus of his presidential campaign with less than 40 days until the election.

You said his numbers would be going up and the piece says 86% (79% Trump supporters) thinks that people should pay their taxes. How does not paying taxes for 20 years make his numbers go up in light of that?
I aint giving you shit lol.

I'll give him a cookie. He looks like he needs one.
That said, I think he is mixing money numbers and poll numbers in a way that doesn't make sense. And technically, he's right that his poll numbers went up before coming down

So Assange is taking lessons from Trump on how to troll the press corps for self promotion appears to be the takeaway here.

Donald Trump on Monday defended his aggressive use of tax laws that likely resulted in him not paying any personal income taxes for nearly two decades, crediting himself for “brilliantly” working the system.
“As a businessman and real estate developer, I have legally used the tax laws to my benefit and to the benefit of my company, my investors and my employees. I mean, honestly, I have brilliantly — I have brilliantly used those laws,” Trump said during a rally in Pueblo, Colorado. “I have often said on the campaign trail that I have a fiduciary responsibility to pay no more tax than is legally required, like anybody else, or put another way: to pay as little tax as legally possible. And I must tell you, I hate the way they spend our tax dollars.”
His comment comes days after a bombshell New York Times report that, citing portions of his 1995 tax return, revealed the now-Republican presidential nominee lost $916 million that year, which may have allowed him to avoid paying personal income tax for up to 18 years.
Trump framed the report as “an alleged tax filing from the 1990s at the end of one of the most brutal economic downturns in our country’s history,” explaining that the conditions then for real estate developers was “almost as bad as the Great Depression of 1929 and far worse than the Great Recession of 2008.”
But while his competitors sank during that turbulent time and others went bankrupt — “which I never did, by the way,” he noted, before asking, “Are you proud of me?” — Trump told the triumphant story of how powerful his brand has become, success he attributed to skill, not luck.
“Today my company’s bigger, stronger, far greater assets than it’s ever had before, more premium properties. We’ve never done better. It’s the strongest we’ve ever been, and we employ thousands of people and over the years have employed thousands and thousands of people, which is the thing that, frankly, makes me most happy,” he said. “That did not happen by chance or luck. It happened by action and talent. Lot of talent. I was able to use the tax laws of this country and my business acumen to dig out of the real estate mess — you would call it a depression — when few others were able to do what I did.”
The real estate mogul said that as a major developer, he faces “enormous taxes,” including taxes from the city, state and federal government, in addition to sales, excise and employee taxes. But he also argued that while it’s in his best interest to pay as little tax as possible, he gives back by investing in communities.

Trump will pay my bills? He's got my vote!

TOLEDO, Ohio (Reuters) - Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Monday vowed to hold Wells Fargo accountable for “egregious corporate behavior” in a scandal over employees’ opening millions of accounts without customers’ knowledge.
“Really shocking isn’t it? One of the nations’ biggest banks bullying thousands of employees into committing fraud against unsuspecting customers,” Clinton told a crowd in Ohio, a crucial battleground in the Nov. 8 presidential election against Republican Donald Trump.
In Toledo, an area that has lost manufacturing jobs, Clinton said she wanted to “send a clear message to every boardroom and executive suite” that they companies will be held accountable if they “scam” customers, “exploit” employees and “rip off” tax payers.
“To understand why this is so important, consider the recent examples we’ve seen of egregious corporate behavior,” she said, citing Wells Fargo.
Ahead of Clinton’s speech, her campaign released a plan to help consumers to sue corporations in court instead of being forced to take disputes to private arbitration. Mandatory arbitration clauses make class action suits difficult or impossible to bring.
Clinton said the Wells Fargo case shed light on how such agreements harm consumers.
“We are not going to let companies like Wells Fargo use these fine print gotchas to escape accountability,” Clinton added.
Consumer advocates say mandatory individual arbitration makes it prohibitively expensive to take legal action and does not set a legal precedent to help other affected individuals.
Wells Fargo has come under fire for using arbitration clauses after it came to light that the bank’s employees opened as many as 2 million checking, savings and credit card accounts without the customers’ permission in order to meet sales quotas.

So, now that we've got that out of the way. Those of you who keep letting yourselves be convinced there are huge conspiracies and other nonsense (Bill's black kid, etc), have you begun to lose faith in Julian Assange? I can see the allure in wanting to believe Clinton will somehow be disqualified from running for president, but Assange isn't your hero. He's a joke. I can't help but have this wonderful grin on my face after how excited Trump supporters were.
