Crime on the rise =/= hell hole for all of those cities. I would list two of those cities as places I would not willing live due to crime. Maybe you should stick to talking about conspiracy theory stuff, because you knowledge of US cities and if they are dumpster fires is pretty weak.

No need, most of those cities have already collapsed. Saw some footage from East St Louis on the tube, makes the third world look like an upgrade. But it's been like that for at least 30 years so i don't see why a few extra murders would change any opinion apart from maybe taking out a few more democrat voters.Literally.

You mean due to the floods? Like the record breaking floods? LA is fine. Chicago is Chicago. Baltimore continues to be Baltimore. You seem to be confused about a lot of the US over there across the ocean.

They'd have to do another to make any conclusions. Besides people are bad at estimating gross percent (people are also bad at estimating poverty rate and low-income rates). Perceptions should be mismatched even worse 2014/15/16 after seeing a doubling or tripling rate of migrants, mostly visually congregated at points of entry. And of course the deeply unpopular political response. I actually can buy 'people are just terrible at math and don't know what percentages mean' as a decent explanation for this. ![]()

On the morning of the first presidential debate, Donald Trump's campaign manager appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" and was pushed again and again to explain why her candidate said that debate moderator Lester Holt is a Democrat when he is actually a registered Republican. [...] "We're asking why he lied about Lester Holt." "He didn't lie," Conway said. "Um, I think he did," Brzezinski said. "Mika, a lie would mean that he knew the man's party registration," Conway said. Washington Post Because when you're this bad of a liar, your campaign manager goes on TV and says it's not a lie if you were just asserting something without know whether it's true.

Oh, so he's an uninformed dumbass who makes shit up not a liar. I need a moment to figure out of the two are actually different and if so which one is worse.

She is accurate about Trump. He just says things and doesn’t really care if they are true or not. Which is fine for a stand up comic. Not a good thing if you are president.

I'm not sure a linear regression makes any sense for this data, though...
