All the party talks about is race and minorities and LGBT and immigrants. And back in the day of Obama running, most of them could imagine when he talked about the haters and racists and divisive voices, he was talking about that other group. Now the message is different: the racists they're talking about are you. And that's a tough message to undo. that depends on whether there's a resurgence in unionized labor. Labor unions tended to favor democrats. This is of course quite unlikely, as unionized labor has been on the decline for quite some time; and the jobs most prone to unionizing have shrunk a lot.

Instead of giving hrc this random and pointless award, she should actually be given an award for worst speaker in political history. Also her speech writers should get fired

That sounded like a recipe for a speech to be an incoherent jumbled mess to me.

Im sure you are aware thats not how drafting speeches works right ? Its not like they just take ideas and put them in a list. Having alot of speechwriters isnt abnormal. There is always a heirarchy thats supposed to ensure what you are suggesting doesnt happen. if it does then its the person who signs it off for her that needs to get fired.

So there was an explosion device that went off in new York. 23 injuries but apparently non life threatening ones.
That's going to be a story for a few days.

That's going to be a story for a few days. was it a pipe bomb? No one know. CNN is currently interviewing people who read about the explosion on twitter, so that is the quality of reporting we can expect right now. Trump got off a plan and said the bomb went off and he is up 4 points in a poll. Quality shit.

Thats a retarded tactic. The dumpster is going to absorb a massive amount of the blast and shrapnel. You're way better off using more actual shrapnel....

This is what I have wondered. It would be quite something if white males managed to outweigh them.

A former CIA director, [Robert] Gates said Clinton's failure to predict the chaos that would follow Western intervention in Libya had raised credibility questions, as had her shifting position on the Iraq war.
Gates assailed Clinton's opposition to a pending Asian trade agreement she once supported, said she had been vague on dealing with Vladimir Putin's Russia, said she offered few specifics about North Korea, and had no clear strategy toward "a Middle East in flames."
But on credibility, Gates added, "Trump is in a league of his own."
"He has expressed support for building a wall between the US and Mexico; for torturing suspected terrorists and killing their families (and) for Mr. Putin’s dictatorial leadership."
Trump had expressed support "for withdrawing US troops from Europe, South Korea and Japan," while being "cavalier about the use of nuclear weapons." He had insulted servicemen, their families and military leaders, Gates wrote.
Trump is "willfully ignorant" about the world, the US military and "about government itself," Gates said.

Well the ones listed dont go voting so its easy to imagine that you can win with only white males.

hah! i'm actually born & raised in NJ, but a few years studying abroad have fucked up my brain :/ hard to argue against those nice and even numbers though
And yeah, it just feels weird... that part of Chelsea is just mostly office buildings and some storefronts (including my favorite barber shop). And the last place I'd expect this sort of thing.

The awful thing about this political climate is that I wouldn't put it past the super fringe to pull an attack like this trying to make it look like an ISIS attack (if a Trump supporter) or look like a fake ISIS attack done by a Trump supporter (if a leftist).
