That will be a horrible day, if if Hillary gets to put her judges in. Right now we're tied. You see what's going on. We're tied because Scalia this was not supposed to happen. Justice Scalia was supposed to be around for ten more years at least and this is what happens. That was a horrible thing." - Presidential candidate who thinking conservatives intend to vote for, 8/9/16 *there are some thinking conservatives

And we have another beautiful piece of insanity that everyone understands but is vague enough for his supporters to claim 'the evil liberals are putting words in his mouth'. Although the Second Amendment people maybe there is, I don't know. He is basically talking about an armed rebellion here... I understand the lunatics are the only supporters he has left at this point but my still ><. As was said (I believe by Jon Oliver) the only thing he can do to make people stop talking about his latest gaff is to make an even bigger one. Here is the one to surpass Khan. Hinting at an armed rebellion because you might not like a supreme court nomination.

It's not even funny any more at this point Are you saying that public figures suggesting the system is corrupt, rigged and broken based on completely baseless claims could be erode the public’s faith in the system long term? The founding fathers feared the public. They understood that they needed to respect the system so the public would have faith in it, even if it wasn’t perfect and had flaws. That without that faith, government was worthless. The GOP decided to rile up the people who have zero faith in government or compromise to take back the House and senate. I don’t think they completed losing control of it.

This is actually starting to get quite scary first Trump encourages post election violence and now has suggested political assassination of either a nominee and even Judges.

We have this really dumb legal theory around speech that as long as you are not directly advocating for someone to break the law, you are allowed to say pretty much anything. The Trump style of dancing around the issue and suggesting, but never directly advocating, is pretty much allowed. Unlike the Germans, we have not witnessed the power of speech to turn a nation against itself. We would rather blame the people who performed the violent acts than punish the person who was stoking the flames for months.

Brandenberg vs Ohio A tad iffy, but probably still ok. Either way, it's not a distinction you typically want to have to make.
