That's definitely a lot of basking, did DJT take applause for that long? I guess it's a bigger crowd also.

The same reason there was a random Hillary chant.

If Clinton does not get a convincing convention bump it will be because of this speech and I can't see the election going anywhere else but Trump.

you're making shit up dude. just stop, your bitterness and blindness is just sad. a first year at McK pulls about 100k at the high end. being a president's daughter isn't going to change that.

Bernie looks like he's repressing some rage and is forcing out a smile.

Lets not go to quickly, there is still a good 4 month before the election, a lot can happen since then.

Really?
Chelsea Clinton earned an annual salary of $600,000 at NBC News before switching to a month-to-month contract earlier this year, sources with knowledge of the agreement told POLITICO.

These conventions are designed more to preach to the converted anyways.

Beautiful speech full of empty platitudes. I'm sure her fans will like this one though.

I know the Democrats are making some sort of "Fear Trump" play, but it still remarkable when they go back the founders. Or when they go back to Reagan. They hate him so much, but they'll use him whenever. And Trump has no credible claim on that legacy. The saddest part.

Source You asked about her first job. Her job at NBC is far from being her first job.

She is just not a natural speaker her tone is just one dimensional it seems if she raises it too high it seems like she is yelling at you. Weird.
|
She's pretty much like Merkel, doesn't seem to work well with the American audience though

Yea. The words of the speech are good but she's shouting. Contrast to Obama's calmness/coolness.

Ticklish clearly understood it that way, I haven't re-read it but I feel like I said "first job out of college". But she had 0 experience at it anyway. Not sure how much she made at the Clinton foundation...
If you haven't figured it out the chants of "Hillary" are to keep people from hearing the anti-Hillary chanting. Wonder if the corporate media is going to pretend like they didn't hear it lol.

I may not be paying close enough attention but I believe I'm hearing less substance than from Trump's speech at the RNC.
