Why do you deny the brothers in your country what they've had dangled infront of them for years. At least pressure Hillary to build wall.
Even if that is the case, farmers want super beneficial agriculture laws, fishers want to fish as much as they want etc.., how is this really an argument for anything? Given that this would probably cost tens of billions (and no the Mexicans are not going to pay for it), who else would be maintaining and paying for this other than the federal government?
It's the less expensive method and you are making workers. The costs will go into the workers who will then use that money with their lower tax rate that Mr. Trump gave them to purchase goods and services within your economy. The man who excites his base like no other.
Mr. Trump has outlined his methods of getting "Mexico" to pay for it on his website. That is not the only avenue open for it either. Plus, a deal can always be struck. He works in hyperbole and walks it back to a reasonable deal. It's all in The Art of The Deal. A great read to finish after you've finished Ann Coulter's - Adios America.

It's kind of hilarious that you're advocating the government redistributing wealth via work programs funded by taxes to "make workers" while being upset about "goddamn commies."
Edit: At least you don't believe trickle down bullshit I guess.
Trying to bully sovereign nations to pay for building your failing infrastructure projects is beyond stupid. Mexico say fuck off with the wall, Trump will try to punish them with trade and US businesses will tell him "No, that isn't happening".
On a side note: Trump apparently keeps telling some questionable story about bullets tipped with pigs blood to fight Muslims. Does he understand that Muslims are not vampires or werewolves? That the religion doesn't give people special powers?
temporary construction jobs make up very little of the employment typically assigned to the credit of 'infrastructure.' question is always whether it creates economic value for the region and people.
a wall would not really be infrastructure. it is more like a piece of performative art.
by the by, want to actually solve problems? give the unemployed and unlikely to be employed 14k a year, which would be supplemented by a job they can take making things other than meth. we are talking about near retirement boomers in certain regions. would be more effective than a wall.
Also in this case it's not bullying. It's a long overdue correction. Because sending over half a million people per year to rape your country is totally an acceptable way of treating your neighbour. It's not rape you say? Well beyond the fact that 80% of the women along the journey are raped. What would you call this:
A beautiful country... all of a sudden.. it's entered against its will. It didn't ask for this. It wanted consent. But they barged in without consent. Many of them didn't even speak the native tongue. Leaving her scared and frightened by the foreign language being shouted in her ear as she was ravaged. Despite all they did to her, she cooked and cleaned for them. Treated them when they were sick. Even though they had broken her sanctity she treated them with the utmost care. But they ravaged her daily. Again and again. Inviting all their friends. No the country cried. Please stop. But still they came. And they shall never stop. poor America.

We proved that rape stat you just threw out there was bullshit last time you lied abut it. But I guess your so used to spitting bullshit that you can't keep track of who called you on it any more. It's fine, no one really expected you to remember.
Edit: My critique is perfect, so your mother must be a smart woman. I am proud to be like her.
I don't recall you proving this wrong. I don't recall anyone refuting this actually. Last time I brought it up I said, "why would you want this on your hands?" It's from a favourite progressive kill the patriarchy paper that is now known for advocating violence against Trump supporters. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/12/central-america-migrants-rape_n_5806972.html
What, you think if the number goes down to 30-40% it's still remotely ok or something? Women going from central america through mexico to USA are probably going to get raped.

Again that is only women who are crossing the border illegally, which is a much smaller group that the immigrants who just over stay their visas? So 80% of all illegal immigrants women have not been raped, which is what people told you last time.

Anyone with any knowledge of international politics knows that there would be no chance whatsoever of Mexico paying for such a wall if Trump was elected. None. His "methods" are utter nonsense and he would get laughed out of any negotiation with Mexican representatives if he even attempted to blackmail them into paying for the wall like that. It's such a mind-numbingly stupid proposal I can't tell if the people on this board who defend it as a valid idea are seriously that incredibly ignorant or simply trolling.

Clearly not paying close enough attention to The Donald. It's gotten 10 feet taller so many times.

Discrediting a book you haven't read because of the author despite the insane amount of documentation that went into it & how well sourced it is. Maybe Ann is.. right? But again, it's just libs saying, "omg that's from the source that's against the position I have" over and over again. It's not a good way to have an argument. Because I could discredit every liberal source as well. "Oh, Clinton News Network". etc etc etc... we've been down this road before. So what news source is untainted... AP? Reuters?

*Correction that will not be brought up again. 80% of illegal immigrant women making the journey from central America are raped along the way. We can put this one to rest with this correction. Thank you.

There's no chance for the wall to go up. It also makes no sense. Out of all the refutations and analyses of Trump's wall, I like John Oliver's the best:
Jon Oliver the panderer. I've seen it, it's been debunked. The waffle irons bit was one of the worst yet. He's ok sometimes. But he's still terrible. His segment isn't even close to Ann's book in detail and not nearly as sourced. It's feel good lib material that just mocks the other side rather than engages it. Your people living on the border want the wall. For 20+ years now.

The difference between Bill Clinton's and Trump's language used to discuss immigration is actually so immediately noticeable I'm not sure why anyone would say Bill Clinton is "talking like Trump" in that second video.
How on earth is saying "this administration has taken a strong approach to stiffen protection of our borders" the same as "will will build a wall. It will do what it's supposed to do. Keep illegal immigrants out?" Or "we are increasing border controls by 50%" the same as "we're going to have a border. A real border."
Let alone Trump's "we'll have a penalty" vagueness regarding illegal hiring versus Clinton's denying of federal contracts.
That video makes me more convinced then ever Trump has no idea what he's talking about LMAO.
Also, how you can construe "physical barriers at some locations" as Hillary Clinton says as identical to Trump's wall position is beyond me, let alone that being her "demanding a wall" as in the title.
Do you even watch these videos or just read the titles and paste them in this thread, Testie?
Implying physical barriers in some places isn't a half measure which equals half assed. And when your goal is to import voters to turn everything blue, it's just downright sinister. Do you even think these things through to their logical conclusion or are you so gungho on turning everything blue that you think it's a good thing that other nations disrespect the sovereignty and laws of your own. Either you have laws or you don't. And it's illegal.
