Straight up splintering of the party. Unreal. I honestly expected everyone to rally. The GOP has always been nothing if not united.

The WMD's that we were led to go to war over were nuclear in origin and were proven to be lias based on a lieing scource that everyone told us was a liar but the administration went forward with it anyway. I know its small potatoes but its important to keep history straight. Really though we should have went full imperial on the middle east. Ask Korea japan and Germany how the reverse colonial experience works out. Middle east just isn ready for democracy and the bill of rights without a generation of brain washing and reeducation. .

We have no one to blame but ourselves. And I didn't vote for them. But I am still to blame. Well their crimes were international and most of the people on the planet (e.g. Iraqis) didn't vote for them, so that seems like an odd defence. Obviously this will never ever ever ever happen, but I don't see how any decent person could be against the idea of them being charged.

WASHINGTON — In a biting critique of the presumptive Republican nominee, President Obama said Friday that Donald J. Trump should be subjected to serious scrutiny and not be allowed to treat the presidential campaign like “a reality show.” “We are in serious times, and this is a really serious job,” Mr. Obama said after being asked about Mr. Trump at a White House news conference. “This is not entertainment. This is not a reality show. This is a contest for the presidency of the United States.” The president suggested that Mr. Trump’s statements and proposals would wither under “exacting standards and genuine scrutiny,” saying that particular attention must be paid to campaign promises made by Mr. Trump — or any other candidate — on issues like the budget, the economy and foreign policy. “You know, if they take a position on international issues that could threaten war or has the potential of upending our critical relationships with other countries or would potentially break the financial system, that needs to be reported on,” Mr. Obama said. “What I’m concerned about is the degree to which reporting and information starts emphasizing the spectacle and the circus,” he added, “because that’s not something we can afford.” Taking questions from reporters at the White House for the first time since Mr. Trump became the presumptive nominee on Tuesday, the president chided the news media over its coverage of the campaign, saying it had not yet focused on serious issues. PS: the only people who "knew" were hawks and retards. Everybody else in fact doesn't know to this point who's responsible for Halabja. I was going to respond that I wasn't an apologist by how if you literaly just read the rest of my post you'd see i was just clarifying that it was nuclear weapons we were going into Iraq for not the chemical types of WMD's but then you just had to put that little end part in. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halabja_chemical_attack So apparently the US isn't the only one that supplied them with the chemicals. We're talking thousands of tons of chemical weapon precursors coming from Singapore, The Dutch, Egypt, India and even old West Germany. Dieter Backfisch, managing director of West German company Karl Kolb GmbH, was quoted by saying in 1989 that "for people in Germany poison gas is something quite terrible, but this does not worry customers abroad."[ So what the fuck am I even apologizing for? thats what bugs me least of all.
