You need people at all skill levels to test a game, yeah ive been a B.net owner since 2004, haven't gotten an invite either

gotten one for WoL, and every WoW exp and D3 closed, so i can't complain

There are pros in gold league so I doubt many non-pros have keys.

If you want the best chance of a key you need to do the following.
Create lots of battle.net accounts and opt in. You best account(all the games on it) probably has less chance of getting in the longer the waves go on. Fresh accounts have more chance if it follows the same rules as old beta. According to the last sentence it doesn't but we will see.

I had every blizz game in my account and had played thousands of games but never got a beta for sc2. Made fresh empty accounts and got beta in the very next wave on all the fresh accounts...

Ive (actively) tried to get into the beta's of wotlk cataclysm sc2 and diablo and never received an invite

. I guess blizzard doesn't wants me on their beta's.

Did you beta test the 1.5 patch? Only a small % of the people that did got beta keys. Doubt the number of 'random' betas given away is very large at all.

Somewhere in the text Blizz mentioned that this wave was only for the arcade contest winners (who could be anyone), pros, shoutcasters and friends and family. That is literally it. So unless you won a key in the arcade contest, you aren't being overlooked, just totally ignored like the rest of us non contest/shoutcaster/professonal/friend-or-family people.

Lol @ people who think they deserve an early invite for one reason or another. Sorry but you don't know better than Blizzard how they should test their game or what they even are testing at this point in time. The point of a beta test is not to reward past contributions, no matter how special of a snowflake you think you are. Have some patience, WoL is still fun

Don't really understand why it's such a big deal. Nobody's truly figured anything out yet, the games tend to consist of hurling random stuff at each other the whole time and half of the new content isn't even interesting. I'd personally rather just play SC2 at the moment...
