That is why Pro Terrans are still going MMM timing/all in every match.. Protoss and Zerg are both way more discovered than Terran, to be honest, Terran kept reciving nerfs for awhile, so the majority of players ((pros included)) stuck with cheesy gimmicky stuff.. Someone like Flash will revolutionize Terran. Ive seen Mech work against Protoss and Zerg, ive seen biomech destroy Protoss((without drops, and with)) ive seen hellion viking rape zerg.. yet 99% of the games are MMM all in((with a healthy dose of 1-1-1)).. Terran needs players that will push the race, and not just settle going all-in//gimmicky..

When I say "we" I mean spectators of the kespa run league and people reading this forum, I'm not speaking for Broodwar fans if that is what you mean. But since you brought it up, I don't know of anyone who followed Broodwar first that prefers SC2 and I bet they are actually the minority.

The build is called Deep6, one of the oldest builds and it is as rare as a blue moon, but stupied fun every time, because going bio in TvP is near suicide in this day and age

The thing about BW pros coming over that's so interesting to me is how much BW style they are going to bring to Sc2. Will Flash/Mind/Baby/Terrans in general sacrifice some results in the short run to explore mech in the long run (especially vs protoss where it seems the most difficult). Like if they want to win tournaments fast, then they'll just adopt the current style (bio in all matchups 98% of the time), and get really good at it because of their mechanics. I kind of want them to bring their own style to the game, I think it would be really cool spectating a bunch of players who literally play the game completely differently when compared to the current crop. But that's realistically not going to happen to the extent that I hope it will, because they are professionals at heart and they want to produce results/make bank.... tldr; BW pros, practice mech! Make it good with your mad skills. ![]() On April 26 2012 10:57 HeaDStrong wrote: well i am not going to talk about majority or minority but when someone posts ridiculously uninformed claims and says that he is a bw fan while clapping his hands and celebrating an even that is hurting bw a lot, i feel safe to say that the person is not a big bw fan. It's kind of dumb to say that all bw fans are completely against the switch. I've been watching bw since 2004, grew up playing/watching it, and I want to see eSports continue in any form that it can. If Kespa thinks sc2 is the future, and is going to switch over all its players, then I'm going to support that decision because it allows me to watch my favourite players as long as I can! Yeah, I think bw is the better game, and nothing would make my day more than seeing a huge sponsor commit to BW and guarantee a bunch more seasons of spl/msl/osl, but any form of esports is obviously better than no esports at all. I think a lot of people are being a bit hypocritical when they say "I want eSports but it MUST be only X game, not Y game." Having a preference is fine (ie. I don't enjoy watching/playing LoL at all), but this extremism with "BW OR NOTHING" is a bit too much.

Also to those that say sc2 fans are ignorant, you should know that I have watched many sc1 games and know a lot about the game. For example, I have seen minedrags, where you mine lots of minerals and go dragoons. I know TangBee has employed this tactic to great success. Also I heard about this guy BeeSuit (what is it with all the bee names in sc1? you should name yourselves after commercial sweetened tea drinks) who can make dark templars even when zerg has lair and so can go overseer. He uses phoenix to chase away the overseers and sometimes kill them while they morph. User was temp banned for this post.

Do i have to goto youtube.com and copy paste links to all the recent pro games where Terran goes MMM//all-in and scour them all untill i find a FEW that Terran didnt do one of these builds? Because I assure you, it is 10x easyer to find a Video of MMM or an all-in, that it is to find a video of something different.. When is the last time you saw a Terran actually use Siege tanks against Protoss, isntead of just MMMV ((because i have seen a GM player sprinkle some Siege tanks in his unit comp in TvP and have very good success.))
