There are mothers grieving over the lives of their lost children, while you are grieving over a lost ladder match.
Children are born infected with H.I.V. with no hope for a future. Their existence is plagued by pain and disease. So excuse me, if I don't give a second thought about your choice of race being underpowered.
There are lots of people who struggle with getting an education due to being dyslexic. This is while you are struggling to improve your APM.
While you train 10 hours a day, you have surgeons from Doctors Without Borders whom haven't left the operation room for 20 hours.
Next time before you ladder, remember the more of the world you see, the less significant your lose/win will be. Don't throw your life away...
Let the flame commence before the hammer of fear and insecurity will fall and close this thread.

You mean feel like you did before you became indoctrinated and accepted the miseries of others?

This is a starcraft related site. We talk about starcraft here.

we got an emo kid on the loose

This thread is bad and you should feel bad.

Talk your heart away. But please don't burden me with your SC2 problems... You have to earn your cookies and milk.

Guess this thread has the same relevance as Starcraft. Think about it.
|
Same can be said about everything that entertains.

You are shitting on the whole ESPORTS community by writing this post. So you mean that every single effort that has been put into the games have never been relevant?
I understand that you want to calm down some people who rage on ladder but the way you put it and the very controversial topic name makes me think you only want to stir up some shit...
Also the "Let the flame commence before the hammer of fear and insecurity will fall and close this thread." statement... WTF?

dafuq did I just read?.. No really... what?

First of all SC2 isn't a sport.
Second of all what's incredibly unique about the SC2 community is the amount of people crying about compeition, laddering and how imbalanced the game is. So no.

I hope you're very young to utter such insanity. Games are relevant to everyone, except maybe idiots. You would know better than I do.
|
Yeah let's all go cry in a corner because there is pain and suffering in this world. T_T Nobody is comparing ladder anxiety to starving to death...Either bad troll is bad or the OP didn't give this any second thoughts.
|
nickel back listening troll comes to TL.... interesting while responding to a troll is something normally would not do, while you wasted time criticizing the lives of others on an online video game forum, you could have been volunteering for a soup kitchen. I see hypocrisy all over this. Hipsters like you think they are changing the world by talking shit basically about other people for not being better people instead of being better people themselves. Go work at a soup kitchen and get off of team liquid. Thanks!

Lol OP basically crying because we talk more about Starcraft on a Starcraft gaming forum than the tragedies of humanity. You'll prolly get perma-banned soon, so let me say good-bye to you now.

Exactly. The fact that so much is less is on the line is what makes all entertainment and sports so great. It's a diversion from all of the crap that goes on in real life.

I never said it was a sport in my post, (its an esport, lol) and plenty people cry rage for tv shows with bad endings, rage at football games, it certainly applys to most things.

Instead of posting this garbage why don't you go and join the cause, go on grab the next plane to Africa and remember to tell us how it goes, we'll be here waiting.

The society is corrupt and what can we do about it? Nothing except escape reality by playing video games.

No offense, but how are you any better more or less complaining about the complainers complaining?

Troll post, close this thread

Although the OP has a point it is a bit of a abd place to make it. The Olympics this year is costing billions of pounds to put on. Go troll the organizers of that one, with the amount of good they could have done.
|
OP, we are all aware of those problems. As is anyone enjoying any hobby, art, music or anything. Doesn't make us any worse human beings if we enjoy ourselves from time to time. Of course, you are aware of this fact, so this leaves only the conclusion that you are a troll. Which makes you an attention- w***e and a dick. Maybe you want to think about that now? Also, if you sometime want to seriously discuss about a topic that you feel is relevant and should get attention, try the general forum next time.

I came here, expecting a 3 page-long post about how StarCraft is no tru esportz with analysis and graphs, only to result in 50 pages of people flaming each other whether SC2 was shit or not. Instead I get some emo kid complaining about people not caring about other people they don't know and have never seen in their life. I am disappoint.
Edit: When i wrote this, there were only 3 replies to the OP, now people are already flaming each other over whether SC2 is shit or not LOL

What a bunch of garbage ' Why starcraft has never been relevant'. Let me tell you something, life is irrelevant, in the end we are all corpses. So you might as well do whatever the hell you like doing instead of crying about shit you can't change.

You mean to say that football fans don't whine? Yeah right. They start crying and breaking shit when "their" team loses. They condone the spending of millions and millions of dollars for player transfers etc. But no, StarCraft is the only thing in this world hurting humanity. Your arguement applies to every single aspect of life. Considering you are sitting behind a computer trolling on a forum, I can only assume you part of the problem, not the solution. Hypocrite.

Children are born infected with H.I.V. with no hope for a future. Their existence is plagued by pain and disease. What does my playing and/or passion for Starcraft have to do with this? Can you replace this with my grief in multivariable calculus?
While you train 10 hours a day, you have surgeons from Doctors Without Borders whom haven't left the operation room for 20 hours. I'm just going to say very few people get to play SC2 for TEN HOURS a day.
Next time before you ladder, remember the more of the world you see, the less significant your lose/win will be. Don't throw your life away... Agreed!

What are you trying to accomplish with this thread?
Your message is unclear and probably irrelevant to the purpose of this forum.
Most of all it feels like a poorly executed troll attempt.
|
So you waste your time complaining about how others are wasting their life doing something they enjoy?
|
|

Wait a minute. You mean instead of sitting in my basement playing video games I could help people? Fuck, I never thought of that. Thanks, OP. My life has new meaning.

I love this thread. Must be 100% trolling. If not then I'm asking myself why he joined TL xD

Not sure if trolling or just stupid. There's always something worse. Wow, talk about big news. Now that you've realized something that people realize when they're 15 years old and go all emo, please leave. And next, when you'll hit 18 and realize why being emo about it is retarded, please don't make a topic about it.
You notice the irony of talking about this on a forum i hope. Talk about preaching from an high horse.

dehdar: ''Greetings
After being away from Starcraft 2 for 6 months I'm back. I knew it was only a matter of time when I left, but I didn't know it would be this long. Since I have little time to spare and games like Skyrim, SWTOR requires too much of an investment to give you a thrill, I've decided to fully dedicate the little time I have on Starcraft 2 Except Theme Hospital, The Revenge Of Malcom: Kyrandia and Little Big Adventure 2, it's the most fun I've had.
Anyhow after doing a little research I discovered that Zerg is the most played race now and that really annoys me. I hate ZvsZ matches. So I've decided to play Terran or Protoss and I'm really in doubt, so I'd appreciate some input.
My playstyle - I like strike/retreat strategies. I enjoy being creative and trying very optimistic strategies or as my friends would put it - hopeless strategies. I enjoy having a very mobile army and without constant map-overview I can't rest. My APM is average 60-80 and I was more than capable competing at mid-master level as Zerg before I quit. Having looked at the new units that will be introduced, I'm leaning towards Protoss, but they feel sooo slow.
Any suggestions?''
WHY ARE YOU PLAYING GAMES, THINK ABOUT THE MISERY IN THE WORLD
So you are saying we are not allowed to enjoy life, when you are doing it? Thanks now i get it!
