You can't deny the fact that Zion got a whole lot of solokills whereas I don't think Seraph got a single one until the relegation match, despite them both having similar champion pools. But even at that, Seraph is taking up a foreign player spot for CLG, so even if you trade one mid-tier player for another, Zion is better simply because he gives you more options for a mid spot (which has way more impact on the game anyway).
If dexter doesn't leave for EU expansions which seems unlikely + Cyanide doesn't leave Fnatic, it's safe to say that CLG are going with same roster anyway if they're not trading Seraph for Zion, which is basically same idea with Seraph already played whole split with other 4.
Honestly, i just want to see same roster at least for 2 splits once. Nien, fucker, why did you leave, we missed freaking Worlds quarterfinals because of it D: #hindsight20/20

Zion was also enabled to play his comfort champions while Seraph was stuck in CJ Blaze mode where people are forced to play in a style that supports the star.(I know the example seems a bit off since Flame is clearly the star of Blaze but everybody knows CLG is played towards Dlift.)
I'd be willing to say Seraph got the least support out of all the top laners in NA LCS, which is saying something with how little help Dyrus gets.

CLG is forced to play towards Lift2x just because botlane is only lane for CLG which doesn't struggle for all those years, outside of random periods of time when Link goes super saiyan, it's not even close to Flame's case when jungler is forced to camp him since Reapered left the team, even if possible Flame's taking role of second violin could help Blaze to win OGN Spring this season.
I just don't get that possible Zion pick because neo-CLG in current roster is team which is basically shadow of Cloud 9 with better mechanical skill but worse decisionmaking with tendencies to go yolo in bad positions. Zion is basically face of Coast - "My back will die but i will do everything to carry you all, because you suck", it won't be a case and with all Dignitas's promises that it's going to change, in the end everything went as expected with Zion desperately trying 1v9, there is no difference in skill, it's just difference in mentality and citizenship.
And jokes aside. If Zion leaves, there is some real problem in Odee's management, considering "the most expensive transfer in Dignitas history", followed by some sick numbers which Coast got for sololanes duo.

I still have a feeling CLG is looking to get a Korean midlaner + jungle (Ryu + ActScene/H0r0/Swift/Lira?) and have thought this since the end of the split, which is why Zion made sense to me. But we shall see.

Beelzehan will most likely end in China, at least i have that impression (LGD BEELZEHAN HYPE) Swift is one of the best junglers in Korea, no reason to be that washed even after playing with Space, Lira is just non-existant, ActScene was mediocre at best in WE, that's not good sign and Ryu, uh, meh.
Korean midlaner is pretty ballsy call, like, only real call i get in mind is Ambition but i still hope that Flame leaves before Ambition will have to go.

Inb4 Wx and Caomei comeback and WE Kakao/Rookie.

WE is a very different beast from Royal, iG and all those other teams that brought in KR imports. It's a legacy team. add to that: Kakao comes over I can't see him not being the standout star of the show, especially if WX doesn't un-retire (Caomei isn't the biggest playmaker imo?). The team dynamic will be very different from SHRC/iG's. CN fans are very nationalistic. Maybe it'll be offset by the initial implosion of WE due to ClearLove&Fzzf's 'betrayal' and the blame'll shift over to EDG instead. (I doubt it)
Personally I'm all for more inter-regional moves. \o/ (so says the 2013-2014 DK fan xD)
