That team sounds like a complete fuckup. Pretty stupid statement imo because who would want to pick them up after reading that? I feel sorry for Alex because of his family but overall sounds like good riddance to me.

If CLG somehow get Alex Ich (which I don't think will happen, but let's dream for a minute), that would be a pretty fun team - Zion, Dexter, Alex, Double, Aphro. That's a really strong team on paper there. What I think might happen instead though is Seraph or Zion switch to mid (classic CLG role-swapping).
I hate that Dig's letting Zion go after one season though. I really hope they have someone good lined up to take his place if he's actually leaving.
Edit: Interestingly enough, all of Dig's players' contracts run out on October 20th according to riot's website. I guess that could potentially mean Shiphtur is a free agent again too. I wonder how much of an overhaul Dig will do.

I think you dump Kiwi now and give Qt one more split to see if he's any good without an anchor attached to him (or with a support who doesn't spend the whole game roaming). If Zion is in fact leaving they can't replace 3 people right? So only one of their botlane can be removed.

I'm not really sure how the rules work now since riot changed some things, but I think their bot lane is a big problem. it's pretty apparent that kiwikid isnt very good, but qtpie has been just skirting by for the past 2 years now, he's basically like a more popular Cop. Always average, sometimes has good games, sometimes has bad ones, but he seems to have reached his limit. Freeze and Forgiven are both free agents, so if they want to replace qtpie they have some decent options. Not really sure what they would do for a support though

Zion to CLG would be pretty dumb. Trade one carry/splitpush top laner for another then have him play tanks and non carry/splitpush so he's awful a whole split. Unless they kicking link and double as well.

I'm almost 100% certain link's going to retire. He seems completely drained of playing league. Plus he has the option of going back to a good school.

I love Alex, but Link is clearly better nowdays.
Dunno, i could be okay even with old roster staying for one more season, they clearly can play way better without choking on stages.

As much as I like Alex as a player, I just don't see him going to CLG given his recent performances. I actually think Zion top + a Korean mid/jungle combo could be really good, depending on how the off season goes in Korea. Or if you are sticking to Western players, either someone who has demonstrated proficient play like Nuke or an up and coming midlaner like Watdefox or Yusui. I just think Alex's recent showings + all the baggage with family is a lot to invest in.

Also I have no idea what is CLG doing. There is no proof of Scarra being good coach and bringing Zion doesn't solve their issues.

Link/Dexter are much bigger issues IMO, and Seraph styled all over Zion in that relegation match.

This new team Alex tries now is actually quite decent. From what I have read so far people underrate them a lot. Way better than latest version of NiP regarding character / attitude and imo also better regarding talent.

Yeah, right now I'm of the mind that Seraph is a better version of Zion but was left to hang in the wind by the rest of CLG in the Summer split.

Ehh, I think Seraph and Zion are pretty equal. You can't deny the fact that Zion got a whole lot of solokills whereas I don't think Seraph got a single one until the relegation match, despite them both having similar champion pools. But even at that, Seraph is taking up a foreign player spot for CLG, so even if you trade one mid-tier player for another, Zion is better simply because he gives you more options for a mid spot (which has way more impact on the game anyway).
