Monte steps down, Zuna on try out (?).
from ongamers:
While Zuna is not here as CLG's new coach he is here to assist and supplement communication, environment and analysis for the team in their preparations for the match vs Curse Academy. Because of his strong relationships and history with Aphromoo, Link and Doublelift we believe he can facilitate more constructive practice going into the relegation matches on September 9th.

Bringing Zuna most likely mean that core (Aphro/Link/Lift) stays together and Seraph/Dexter are leaving after relegation. It's not good for CLG fans, but CLG probably can't afford to lose Doublelift after not making to Worlds/KR trip.

I wouldn't be surprised if fnatic got the best soloqueue ranks from the bootcamping, must be hard to get scrims when you have such a bad scrimming partner reputation, so that means lots of soloqueue

I hope it works out for Zuna. Never liked his play, but like Nien ,I feel bad for him given the heavy shitstorm reddit dropped on him. When his goal for the spring split was to be less hated, you knew he was shot.

Fnatic are notorious for not really caring about scrims. Whenever an EU pro talks about fnatic and scrims it's always in a pretty negative or non-caring light.

I really like Zuna's addition, though.
Not a lot of players can ignore all the hate with such brilliance, summoning even more hate, lol.

Now, we just need to find toplaner/jungle or get toplane/midlane with switching Link into jungle and CLG S5 #believe.

To clarify why I'm posting this the initial announcement was only that he couldn't go backstage, some speculated (on reddit at least) that he may still help them bootcamp or remote coach. He will be doing neither.

I'm pretty sure manager even stated that he will be bringing him to Korea. Kinda bummed out, I wanted to see him in soloq

Welp, the structure sure wasted a lot of money to send 5 dickheads play soloQ in Korea.
They'll most likely get destroyed in groupstage (as usual when they're in an international competition) and will try to find a good excuse about it (would be happy if soaz were to retire after WC)

On less serious note, Fnatic hadn't got eliminated in groupstages since, uhh...IEM Season VI iirc?

Yeah, and Gambit was pretty strong too, Ozone dropped the ball because Dade was awful, and SKTK was by far the best team in the world.

Framing things on results from a strict year ago is silly, imo.

To be fair, Monte said on SI that Korean teams generally will try any scrim partner for two games. If the are satisfied, then they will continue playing. If they aren't, then they will never scrim that team again. So I assume that Koreans will just try Fnatic for themselves rather than base the decision on hearsay. With that said...

Also Leviathan also said on his ask.fm that Bubbadub is the best support and that Forgiven+Bubbadub would be the best botlane, confirmed?

Oh and for people who don't read GD thread: http://na.lolesports.com/articles/interregional-movement-and-expansion-tournament

Fnatic has more soloQ games because they arrived first. This is just random hating.

Not sure riot would have allowed that with Blue/White in Korea.
