Like all the crap I read about Fnatic, how they "owe" Eu to be better, how they have to do this and that for the glory of Eu or stuff like that. Fnatic, OMG or whoever dont owe their regions shit. They are where they are because they beat others, that is it. People need to take a step back and realize that teams play first and foremost for themselves, not some imagined regional entity. I always thought this region stuff was a fun thing, a joke basically, but people actually started to take this crap serious. It has become quite absurd.

I feel like Netizens would've flamed SKT to oblivion The thing what I don't understand is why Chinese fans feel "entitled" to success in international tournaments? I don't want to lump them together with eu & na because they are still slightly better overall but at the end of the day everyone knows how that korea is a (big) step ahead of them and korea should always be the expected winner. Pomelo indeed played pretty bad overall though except for a few pantheon ults and he was pretty underwhelming as support at worlds already which is why it was surprising to me, as a non lpl follower, that Lovelin and him switched positions considering how crucial the jungler is. San improved quite a bit since world though.

Nien and Pomelo both performed badly so while the amount of hate or severity of it is disgusting it's not as if it's unpredictable. I'm sure the players themselves realize how they let their teams down so having it heap on from another source must be rather shitty. Nothing will change the community though. We have decades of human history showing the same reaction from fans so unfortunately doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon. This is even worse as Lovelin has proven he's not only a better support but also a better jungler. When you swap positions with a player on your own team and always perform worse the fan reaction is going to be that much worse. I think much like the Nien case this is more of a player that doesn't cut it at the highest level realizing this and using fans as an excuse than purely fan outrage forcing a hand. If he had one stand out performance than I think a lot of this situation wouldn't have happened.

You guys know Lovelin was the original support for OMG and was considered the Chinese MadLife and miles ahead of any other CN support before he switched to Jungle because it was a weak position in CN.

Failer is known for becoming the cancer of every team he joins and getting removed relatively quickly, lastshadow has a somewhat spotty record during his time in esports.

Thanks for filling me in, from the comments thought it was something personal between them two.
