He was supposed to play top for the first EU super team which was Him/Shook/Froggen/Freeze/Edward if I recall correctly? Also Gambit slump is even more real right now lomo. Just check lolking of anyone I mentioned if you don't believe me they are playing in a Ranked 5 team together :p

I'm half serious, but I'm kinda hype about the new superteam. I hope that them choosing Alex means that Zoro is a strong pick for CLG, I'd really hate it if he decided to retire.

Im not saying they arnt playing together atm. Im saying it doesn't have to mean a thing. Esp for a player like Alex who has stuck with gambit the entire time. Its possible ofc but ill believe it when they announce it and not a moment sooner.
Also the timing for it is terrible. Why would Alex leave Gambit for a challenger team during the Summer split when a spot at worlds is on the line. A move like this would make much more sense after worlds.

Alex is friends with k0u, it's possible that he's standing in at top while odoamne and zorozero are trying out for clg

Heh I was pretty sure there would be roster changes for EU. Did not think it would get as crazy as it looks now though, given it is summer split.

i wonder who the toplaner will be for the new team.
anyway one thing you have to admire about forgiven is his drive to win, rather take the risky route and try to requalify then keep being on a medicore team (looking at you 3 alliance rejects)

Wife/Kids could indeed be a reason for him to leave and i'd be tempted to say the only reason to leave at this point.
super team was spring split, There was nothing on the line for being in challenger at that point but leaving Gambit at this moment would give up any chance of making it to worlds. If he wants to leave, which is possible, I would expect it after this split finishes.

I mean, it seems like he's already thought about this before with the first super team. So it's definitely not out of the question.
