I imagine many IdrA fans and people who are somewhat interested in IdrA avoid his fanclub on Teamliqiud. It has emotional roller coasters of whining, flaming, raging, and trolling, so I can't blame you for completely ignoring the thread. And if you haven't visited it in ages, you probably remember the OP being a big heap of images, links, and videos. So that's another reason to avoid the IdrA Fanclub. Well xtfftc (the fanclub's creator) has organized the OP and created this new service called Gracken News. Due to IdrA's recent success and my somewhat recent takeover of the fanclub and Gracken News, I suppose it would be a good time to make a thread on Gracken News to release it to the people who avoid the IdrA Fanclub like the plague.
What is Gracken News? Gracken News is basically a service that xtfftc invented to make the IdrA fanclub all around better. After I collect enough content pertaining to IdrA (pictures, interviews, photoshops, ect.), I just place a post in the fanclub, update the OP of the fanclub, and tweet that there is a new issue out. There is no arbitrary time or criteria to determine when I release an update. Once I feel that there is enough stuff to make an update, I'll do it. (So updates are usually after big events.)
There are 3 different ways to reach the Gracken News post. You can read through the fanclub, but I'm sure many of you won't want to do that...it isn't very efficient either. You can go to the IdrA fanclub's original post. The OP has a list of the issues with the newest at the top and after the five most recent, the updates are within a spoiler tag. I also maintain @GrackenNews on Twitter. The only thing the account tweets are new updates and new IdrA quotes.

Why do this? The two main purposes are to prevent the need of having to look through the big heap of images, videos, and links just to find a recent item and to allow people to still enjoy everything IdrA without reading through the fanclub. I don't want people to miss out on some potentially awesome pictures, videos, and articles just because some people post horribly in the fanclub.
I hope you guys utilize the Gracken News service! Also, if you want to know IdrA's tournament schedule, stalk this Liquidpedia page:  IdrA&. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please post...I'm sure I left something out or could improve on something.
edit: Here is the most recent update as of the creation of this topic. It has all the juicy MLG and IPL stuff!

This is actually kind of creepy, I understand liking the guy but having so many different people devoted time to just giving updates on everything he does. Isn't that a bit far? These are professional players not celebrities we're talking about.

I don't really think it's creepy, starcraft 2 pros are far from celebrities to the rest of the world.
but to us they are celebrities if you think about it.
a celebrity is a person who has a prominent profile in the media and is easily recognized.
Idra is easily the most recognizable foreign player in the sc2 community.
I won't really keep up with Gracken News but I really think it's far from creepy.
