I mean, do you you honestly expect a player to stay on one team for their entire careers? Players can change teams whenever they want, and that should be completely the players decision. So many people are saying "there is no reason for Huk to change teams" You don't know what Huk is experiencing in Korea, you don't know if he really enjoys his team. And besides the point, what do you really think would motivate a player to change teams. I'll tell you, it's money. Professional players play the game for money, and if some one is offering you more money than you are being paid right now, chances are they are going to accept that offer.
If this is really EG'Huk, I don't see why there should be much drama around it at all. It's easy to see why there would be drama:
- Liquid is liked by many. - Huk is liked by many. - EG is disliked by many.
Also Huk moving to EG would probably mean he wouldn't be playing in Korea any more, as I doubt EG would start a team house in Korea after just establishing one in America.

People saying people shouldn't be mad at HuK: Have you ever heard of a man named Lebron James? If not look him up.

I am a huge baseball fan, and I know a ton of other fans. Some are loyal to teams, but others are loyal to players. I am a Giants fan, but there are players out there that I will support no matter what team they are on. Also, there are players that might be good but I never want to see stinking up my team. It is just the nature of sports. You like things for different reasons.

There aren't really rival teams because the team tournaments aren't as prolific as GSL/MLG. The rivalries are weak at best.

My theory is that Evil Geniuses are recruiting 4 players. One of them is HuK. It was revealed like 230 pages ago that the Four Horsemen are the 4 directors of EG. They've always referred to themselves as such.

Kind of frustrating that someone feels the need to revive this analysis every 10 pages or so.

Cavs fans hated him for "abandoning" their team. He didn't go to Miami for the money, but there is still this sense of "he's on our team". That's why when someone very prominent signs with another team, it tends to create a backlash of some sort.

For the people suggesting some kind of player trade, or "Liquid`IdrA"...why would IdrA want this to happen? Why would you leave a team that has a bunch of your legitimate friends on it, for one that doesn't, and is probably offering you an equal or lesser value financially?

Don't have to be mannered. Just don't be a fuckin dick. Never have I gone to a live sporting event (3 in my lifetime) and heard booing ever even from the hardcore fat drunks who paint the logos on their hairy stomaches. And in this case, you aren't booing a TEAM you are booing an individual, a real person, one.

About the actual announcement: Personally I feel the EGtGun theory has the most weight behind it. Just translate the 5th paragraph from Idra's first interview to latin, let google translate translate latin-> greek-> spanish -> latin. Write the first half of this text backwards and replace q with g, rot13 the whole thing and take md5. It should now be obvious.
One of the most intelligent posts in this thread. Why people are behaving like little school children about this I don't know. It's not even as good as Dan Brown. Go read the Da Vinci Code instead?
