Now what we know for sure is that EG has been planning this shit for a long time, all the soundfiles, the twitter messages and stuff. So, what do we know? 1. EG is going to announce something big. So big in fact, that they as a corporation risk their credibility to hype it. 2. Many Liquid staffies stated that it might not be good news for everybody ( These are from safe sources ) and in the Reddit thread somebody stated that also Mr. Bitter said that this announcement might cause drama and uproar. Alright so, what would be big enough for this. A) EG acquiring a player, that is known in the community. I personally don't believe in EG.HuK because I don't think he fits their Team at all. What speaks for HuK is a tweet oGsSupernova made some hours ago. EG.WhiteRa would make no sense because he recently signed with TT Apollos, also he stated on his Stream that he does not plan on switching Teams in the near future, and I don't think he would fit EG neither because he is married and has kids what would prevent him from travelling around the world all the time. The third person people talked about is QXC, but of all the people that could be considered for this he seems to me as the most unlikely since he seems to be quite happy with his team, recently all-killing IM. Also I don't think FXOBoss would allow anyone to steal him (FXO easily has as much money as EG). Now for MajOr, I don't think he would be "worth" the hype since he is not as accomplished as HuK/Ra/QXC. B) EG buying TL or the Team itself. This does not seem likely because Heosat stated nazgul would never sell the site. Also why would TL acquire sheth and HerO and then sell its roster to another team within 4 weeks. C) Big BW names coming into SC2 under EG's Banner. Some theorized that BW Legends like Flash/JD/Bisu/Stork or Fantasy could switch to SC2 because the player contracts end in September. I think we will definitely see some A-teamers switch over to SC2 very soon, now that there is practically only OSL left (with msl shutting down and WCG dropping BW) but the elite tier or korean BW is raking in huge amounts of salaries each year, not even counting tournament wins. D) EG buying a house in Korea and sending some of their best players there. This seems likely to happen since EG was planning to get a house in Korea for a long time ( Then decided differently when IdrA came back ? not sure ) BUT just getting a House down there would also not be worth the hype. E) EG teams up with a Korean Pro Team. This does look very likely tbh. Teams like Prime/ST/IM/Zenex that cannot afford to send their players out to foreign tourneys dont seem to be disliking the thought of partnering with foreign teams. Now in conclusion I think we will see a mix of these posibilities joint together, because no one of them alone would be worth this immense effort (except EG.Flash ;P). I hope I did not make too many mistakes in spelling and grammar (My english is not that good and I am really tired right now : / !).
