Is there any other reason other than money for HuK to join EG? And why the hell would EG want to buy him anyway? It would have to be pretty large sum of money (not saying it's the mentioned 6 figure) to persuade him to go to the pretty much most hated team out there and thus lose majority of his fanbase. Agreed, although Eg may have idra fan boys as fans, beyond that its a pretty hated team. And for the most part huk fan boys and idra fan boys usually dont overlap. I dont see many huk fans being very happy about this transfer.
I certainly am not. Especially considering it seems like hes giving up the training environment that made him good in the first place for more money.

Highly doubt whitera he has a wife that he has said he doesn't want to leave for long periods of time and going to korea would have to be a holiday with her.

I would be pissed off if after all this hype/trolling it was just Huk to EG. Or any single player to EG for that matter.
There have been much much bigger things happen without the need for a countdown and cryptic mystery. I'm hoping it is going to be something much bigger that knocks us all for six, but you Americans do like to over hype simple things :p

No, but practicing all day next to someone and talking to them regularly and having a few skype conversations, the occasional playdate, and maybe a few customs aren't nearly the same thing. Don't know why you're defending the Huk to EG theory so vigorously when you know as little as we do. Because I'm completely convinced. It's apparently common knowledge about progamers. I've been stalking this issue for 7 hours coz it's a really fun mystery, and it's been cracked. Ask any progamer in the loop, and you'll get your answer. Huk is going to EG for a ton of money. That's all there is to it. And i'm assuming you have a boatload of progamers that you know and are willing to divulge confidential info to someone they don't know? Nope. Look, I don't care about convincing you personally. Everybody's gonna know in a day or two anyway.

You are underestimating having MC sitting right next to you as a practice partner. Have you noticed why HuK was performing so well around Dreamhack & HSC 3? It was because he moved in the oGs-TL house.
Liquid had their own practice room, but after Haypro/Ret left, HuK changed seats next to the oGs protosses. Like he said himself, sitting next to MC going over replays and strategizing together for 14 hours a day contributed to his success.

Regardless of weather he lives there, he still comes to train their everyday (or most days) it is a requirement fromm the team. Could you cite a source? I havent heard anywhere that MC doesnt live in the OGS house anymore. Wouldnt matter that much anyways though , Nada lives on his own as well but still frequents the OGS house to train. The only real difference is where you sleep and i dont think weather huk sleeps next to OGSMC is a factor for his skill.
Ive been trying to recall where I heard it from since I typed it.. its late in CA so my memory is groggy. I want to say state of the game and Artosis is the one that makes the claim.

Egs only good player is puma. Thats good enough reason to throw around money and grab players.
Eg has no practice partners that would help Huk out except Puma. So im guessing if they did get Huk they also recruited a kr zerg maybe?
That or the Huk thing is epic trolling and this is all a joke.

HuK has more fans than Nestea. I can assure you that more people watch HuK's GSL matches rather then watching Nestea's GSL matches. Also, KR progamers just don't do that well in the foreigner scene just because of the language barrier.
Winning is everything in competitive sports unfortunately.

shitfuckdamnit.. I'm so torn. I really like EG. I'm kind of a quasi-fan boy of everyone on the team. I enjoy about everything they do. Also, I'm a huge fan of HuK. Every single cast of him uploaded anywhere (even husky!), I'll watch the damn thing. I love HuK.
The thing that's totally fucking with my head is that.... I LOATHE the idea of EG.HuK.
Liquid'HuK4lyfe.
So sad.

Uhm, the rivals IdrA and HuK on the same team is not big enough? It's like mixing... uhm... "things that go BOOM when they are mixed" together.

Liquid seems pretty upset about whatever the news is, so i doubt it was an amicable transfer, and i doubt they would let him stay there, Its the ogs TL house not the OGSTL EG house.
