Queen of the Hill Show Match with CombatEx
Tune in this Friday at 9:30 pm EST to see
COMBATEX (p) vs (z) COL. CATZ
The format: A full 7 Game Series with each game being worth $20.
The winner of the series (with 4 or more wins) will get an additional $20 meaning that the winner of the series will receive at least $100 with a total of $160 given out each week.
The challenger will be in a call with Combatex throughout the series.
How to help: In order to help fund this we have set up a paypal account which you can contribute to at QothSc2@gmail.com ( Monitored by Steven and myself so you know all donations will be going directly towards the event)

FYI: Destiny is currently driving to the Col/Root house and has therefore asked me to create this topic as he is unable to get online.
Also everyone who is asking about Idra: emails have been sent but he just recently got back from EU and so has not responded yet. We will let you know when he is 100% confirmed for a specific date.

I couldn't believe IdrA would consent to a bo7 with Combat-EX. Then I found out he didn't and Combat-EX lied to everyone. No surprises there.

I think it's going to be pretty hilarious. But keep in mind this is the 3rd thread to be closed about this? I'll have to write the time down because there is no way I'm missing this no matter what. I know it's bad though because he dosen't deserve attention.. >.<

Because anything Combat-Ex related is not allowed on TL. Honestly, I think it's one of the better rules on the site  !

Thread was closed because Combat-EX is a known cheater and abuser. We don't like promoting and giving fame and popularity to players who are known cheaters and abusers. He's cheated in several events (not just on ladder).
I'm a little disappointed that people are so against this. Hacking, abusing, and other cheating is so rampant in video games and is basically the worst thing you can do. It goes against everything our community and StarCraft in general stands for. Those drophackers you are complaining about and all want banned? How are they different from someone like Combat who cheats in CSL matches?
But SC community is notorious in their short memory and ability to forgive and accept cheaters, even when they do it multiple times. We'd like to change that, even if it's one dishonest player at a time. We (TL) are well within our rights to just close threads without explanation, but I expected more support from fans of a game they want to call a sport, one that is rooted in hard work, fair play, and honest competition.
Are we not allowed to stop promoting someone who shits all over the very foundations of a gaming community?
