Well NPD is a disorder while I was just referring to what stage he is in regarding Erikson's Theory (which is just a theory, though a highly reputable one), so they are different entities. He definitely has a superiority complex and has feelings of grandiosity...not sure about having NPD though. People who have NPD don't necessarily feel that they need to have so many things dominant in life, they just naturally think they are amazing at everything. The way combat is talking, it sounds like he is trying to prove something by comparing his life to the others in terms of accomplishments and competence in tasks. Can't necessarily diagnose somebody just from small talk, but he definitely has a superiority complex that's for sure. | ||
