I believe Boxer only had to have the blindfold on for two minutes.

Ok, well now I understand. Saying straight up that a blind guy plays BW is really uninformative. Now that I know he only plays one map and he memorized key strokes to certain locations and such makes more sense.

That wasn't the point I was trying to make. baal was making it sound like the kid was clinically retarded or some shit and had no right to play starcraft when the guy had actually found a way to play and gave Boxer a good game (showing that SC is actually within his limits, it doesnt matter if he can get beaten 20-0 by regular people, he can still play it)

one thing you have to know is.. the greateness of SC/BW.
since game is so well made (each unit has own sound, own hot keys etc) even blind people can play and win about 50%
isn't that amazing?

First of all i dont think you watched carefully, he CANT beat 50% of all the starcraft players, and lets say he can do it...

It was very nice game played by the blind. Even after 3 minutes when Boxer had blindfold taken off he was way behind and rushed by 6 zerglings.With blindfold the game would end after 6 maybe 7 minutes. Then without trick Boxer used vs lurkers he would lose, but it was 30 minutes game.
I am very sorry for people like baal. Maybe the best way for you is also to be blind and maybe then you will understand some things. WickeD well written

He hasnt surpassed anything, he is just a blind that try to play bw, what is so awesome about him, so he pseudo-plays bw guided by sound, so?... do you have a record of other blind people trying this and failing?.. because that would mean he actually is excelling from others but wait.. he is not, he is simply doing something other blinds arent that stupid to try.
