Most likely the simplest and most effective of Terran 4v4 cheeses is the TLO 6 barracks build which involves skipping gas and adding on as many barracks as possible until you reach 6. By then you can start marine production and overwhelm your opponent with your superior production. A good follow up of this strategy is taking several bases and swarming rax Korean style instead of adding reactors. Then take all your gas at once and add tech labs as necessary. Please note that the follow-up to this cheese works best if you have another Terran on your team and you ask him politely to make you a couple medivacs. If you have any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reply to this post. Peace!

- more hellions with blue flame - cloaked banshee - mass m&m&m - mass tanks 2) with a zerg partner, proxy rax with tech lab to make a marauder and pressure the wall abusing the 6 range + bonus to armored damage of the marau.

Other fun cheeses (maybe not for 4v4, but i've had succes with it in 3v3) would be to do a SC2 version of the good old boxer paratrooper. Using arakan as an example: send your 8th and your 9th scv to one of the outside expansions hugging your opponents base, building 12-13 / 12-14 raxes. When they're done, lift them inside their base and start marine production. Can do a LOT of damage to people relying on a wall-in for defence (protoss cannonners, terran walls). After you do your damage, lift your rax's back home. In the meantime, your allies should be expanding ofcourse. And then there are cloaked bancheeses, any form of cloaked harass is VERY effective in 4v4s since there's almost always at least 1 player forgetting detection (either that, or you cause a huge over-reaction, think 10-15 missile turrets upon seeing 1 banshee)

Step 1.) proxy Six or Seven barracks while getting your orbital command ( you can cut SCV's at 16) Step 2.) Go own the enemy with you superior unit production. Step 3.) ??? Step 4.) Profit

one useful cheese might be proxy barracks + reactor ( cuz it takes less place + less chance to get detected ) and then pump out a bunch of marines when u got 8-10 attack the mineralline of someone else i think this deals great damage when the others are uncareful ![]() btw nothing in 4v4 is cheese but tactic cuz u got ur teammate to defend u while u keep making pressure

12 Rax at 100 gas => Factory next 50 => Reactor Mass Marine like in the posts above. Banshee rush: 1port/2port stim timing a lot of posibilities ![]()

The problem is I don't know any cheeses for my race, and as cheese is viable in team games I feel that it would be fun to put some cheese into my 4v4 play. So what cheeses as Terran do you use in team games that work? Thanks ^^ slam down a bunch of OCs and lol send all the minerals to your allies evenly with the extra income boost from mules at 5:00 mins build a ton of scvs and planetary fortresses everywhere and scan the opponents' bases like no other repair your opponent's stalkers and collosi too

Didn't think anyone else would be silly enough to think of something like this XD Unfortunately I can't find too many people willing to do it with me though ![]()

1) build two scvs then stop 2) with the 2nd scv, build a supply depot immediately when it comes out (usually I try to put it between command centre and gas). 3) when the scv completes depot, immediately put down a barracks right beside depot to make a wall with supply depot, gas, command centre and barracks. You should have exactly 150 minerals to do this. 4) after barracks comes down, start producing scvs again. You will have a near perfect timing with this build for 3 more SCVs and will complete your 11th scv at the exact time your barracks finishes, and giving you exactly 200 minerals for a OC and marine immediately. Now, if I'm going extreme cheese with this build and have some support with another rusher, I will pull all my scvs except two when my marine pops and attack (around 2:45). This will allow you to constantly produce SCVs and marines to reinforce your army because your OC will come into play very quickly. Another variation on this build is to build a barracks and marine when your 1st rax is complete, and wait on the OC. I'm not really happy with this though, as the timings get wrecked about 1 minute after you make the rax.. As for 4-6 rax play, I find that your marines come out very late since you're putting down so much infrastructure, meaning your exceptionally vulnerable to any early rushes. Your timing window for this sort of play is around 6 minutes, and that's an eternity in 4v4. It's can be a strong play in 1v1 for cheese, but in 4v4 you have to be able to commit with your allies. As for further notes, this build works well on XCav map in 1v1 fairly well against protoss. The marine will pop exactly when the normal scouting probe comes into your base. You then scout and even put pressure on Protoss early game with your marines instead of using a scv. This allows me to put down an expo at 3:35 in the natural with 3 marines and a 4th one about to pop in 10 seconds. Protoss is blind because you can control the watchtowers and have killed his scout before he can see what you're doing. You stop any cheese and have a fairly safe expo.
