SCL is very pleased to announce some free coaching. We will try our very best to have 1 player donate an hour each week. We currently have a couple people offering there time, but for now will only release one coach at a time :D.

Does this mean he is only interested in training other terrans, or will he train other races if they are chosen? Is there any incentive for the players that are not terran to join the contest now as opposed to later?

Well looking at VT's website it says he can coach zerg/toss anything below high diamond. If you dont feel his zerg/toss is sufficent enough im sure you have a terran friend that would be most appreciatvive if you gave them a lesson from pokebunny or as you suggested you cant wait. We will have much more coaches, though some contest's might not be as easy :D.

I was about to be grumpy because I thought this would happen on Thursday (the night I won't be casting). Though now that I realized it's on Tuesday, I may have to come up with some fun way to hype this.

Actually, we have a online system could be used to set up to do that efficiently.
It is not designed to do free coaching, but i guess it will work.
Basically the idea is to have an expert offer lessons, once the expert sign up, he or she will have a very short link which could be used to all the clients to book sessions. (e.g: http://ex.gs/4mVG5B) Anyone could book a session and the expert need to approve it. After that they could exchange information about the service. In our case, it will be the id in SC2.
The service is not necessarily free, but I suppose many of the players here would be happy to offer free service. If anyone would like to try, just go to http://expert.io
Hopefully, this would make the free coaching easier.
