People have been calling him fake  BoxeR (aka EllenPage, aka  Clare).
In the GSL interview he was asked what he would change his new name to when blizzard allows the name change soon, and that people have been calling him Foxer/Fauxer and he would be glad to change his name to something that the fans really want.
So what should we name him?

A new word or new meaning for an existing word. The high-tech field routinely creates neologisms, especially new meanings. Years ago, there was no doubt that a "mouse" referred only to a furry, little rodent.

Too bad Faux is not pronounced the same as Fox, and thus changes how Fauxer is pronounced and distances it further from what it's meant to be similar to(Boxer)

It doesn't look bad. It's French! Have some class. FauxeR is so much more clever than "FoxeR".
Foxer is too simple and easy and boring. Faux as in fake/imitation. Just pronounce it like "Foxer" but spell it like FauxeR and let it be funnier that way! lighten up
