No he's just telling the truth, only immature little pricks feel like they have to harass someone because they suddenly found out his real name. Normal people just see that it's his real name and say: oh.
I probably would've gone one step further and said: "oh, cool."
Hunting this man down is only proving your own sinister heart. We all knew beforehand that the internet is a cesspool. But, oh, thanks internets for revealing the truth to me by mocking a blizzard employee.

What was done was done to prove a point so that this sort of thing won't go through and end up happening to customers.
edit: double post oops ;s

Not read all post, but lets put this into perspective, he posted his name but we already knew so much about him, worked for blizzard etc.

Most of Legion loves being Anonymous when the new protocol goes in to effect, i suspect much of the same will happen to all the other blues.
Edit: ooo and if someone has a 'death note' soon they will start destroying blues....

There are a lot of fuck-faces on it.
If everyone was a good guy of course there wouldn't be a bloody problem (tho they STILL shouldn't implement it, since if everyone was a saint there'd be no reason to).

Do you really think they're so naive they didn't expect a bunch of nerds to immediately try to find out every scrap of information they could about blue posters when their names were revealed? If they cancel this real ID crap before it's implemented it will be just because they're sick of hearing the QQ about it, not because omg someone found Bashiok's Facebook!! Show nested quote +Oh come on ... sure you sign the EULA and arent forced to post on the forum, but do you honestly think that young children are mature enough to recognize this danger? Blizzard doesnt put an 18+ sticker on their games if they dont have to ... No, I think that's what parents are for. You do know about parents right? If a child runs out in traffic and gets hit by a car do you blame Toyota?
How many crusades have parents had against violent videogames, tv, movies, music, etc? Those parents never blame themselves, they only blame the ones who brought a certain element into their childrens lives, and they'll do the same thing here if (when) something goes wrong.

Anyone feel like making a Micah Whittle facebook account and posting all sorts of crap on it?

That's fucking hilarious!
If people can find other people on anonymous forums I am pretty sure they can find anybody that post their real name

I would, but I only know where to look for things in america. MVA, where public access records are, etc. Somebody more knowledgeable with the English system could probably pull an address and phone number and schooling easily.

We already have a real ID thread with 1700+ replies. We really don't need another one at this point.
Maybe when everyone has cooled down about it. Meaning in September.
