I think a majority of the current rage isn't really about the stability (as much fail as that is, and as much QQ as that is causing). The real QQ is just from the absolute shit job Bnet 2.0 is doing on about 15 different aspects (see other threads) that is all just their business model to leach money from us and treat everyone like a 10 year old child. As release gets closer, people realize that the 2 year of work they put into Bnet 2.0 (WHICH delayed sc2 directly) is absolute shit and now they have 2 months to fix before release. Don't get me wrong raging over server stability is very prevalent, but the "sky is falling, blizzard sux" talk is mainly from their Failed Bnet. | ||

You won't find a majority of people honestly thinking SC2 is a bad game that's not fun. Sure we will agree that the recent Ultralisk and other balance changes were pretty silly, but that's easily fixed. Of course the game itself is a good product, it's the people behind Bnet2.0 that are doing everything they can to ruin the game. Servers going down... OF COURSE people will be upset. I think it's a freaking GIVEN that people enjoy the game so that post is just silly. The outrage is the failed direction they seem to be going with Bnet and competitive play and they have less than 2 months to get their heads out of their asses. | ||

Oh for the record i dont see what was wrong with the original system. If they were gunna try out a new one why not wait till after they shut down phase 1, wouldnt that have given them enough time to work out the bugs? | ||

That would have been worse, they might not have known that it doesn't work until they put it on the live servers, and then they'd only have two weeks before the game is launched to fix it. That'd be the worse nightmare for them. | ||
