the whole facebook integration is silly.. i wish they would have done more group research and public surveys to determine if that was something that we wanted..
It seems as though ever since the FB integration and patch 13 there has been these mass instances of game freezes and drops for many players that we haven't experienced before.
a friend of mine quoted a post, I believe from a blizz employee or something, that stated they might shut down the beta for a few days to try to create a solution from within the servers etc.. but yet, they'd only impliment this function the next time beta opens, which would be after the month of down-time which seems to me pretty dumb.

everything seems to be working fine for me. just played like 4 games. no lag really at all, and i won all of em.

I'm confused, because I have been playing some custom games earlier and they seemed with out problem, but I see a lot of posts here about freezing and dropping.

eh people need to stop complaining about the "UP" status even though bnet is practically unplayable. it's based on a program that updates it automatically, there isn't someone changing it manually, so as long as you can connect to bnet, it's gonna say "up"

The repair utility should repair broken installs (with old files or whatever) like the op in that thread has it. That utility should be in once the beta is back up, which will be after a couple of days.
Nothing about the servers there, but that's probably the reason why they are taking the beta down for some days.

If anything, I hope Blizzard fixes these replay issues asap. Hopefully we will continue to be able to view replays from older patches. Does anyone have a source for post patch 13 reps?

Finally managed to do my placement matches with only 2 drops. Seems it's more playable during night time.
