I think these videos were OK for a while but should have been a bit shorter Because we all see progamers as these honorable pros who loves their game over anything, even over money.

I guess all they can do is weed out the offenders and punish them... make it a lesson to anyone else who's thinking about trying to make money off illegal betting and etc...

I mean that'd be awesome but thats insane to really believe. I mean the game is fun but I'd take 1,000$ to never even play it again. This is like finding out Jesus took out a massive life insurance policy on himself before he got crucified and resurrected. That's exactly why Boxer and the other oldschoolers started to play SC 12 hours a day and formed a big scene, for money. Right. Some gosu business skills there to be able to see the future like that. I don't think there's any progamer that chose to become what he is because of money, or if thats his only reason then he is a retard. Most of them did it because they were addicted to the game and saw a way to continue playing while earning a moderate income.

But savior losing to it did make it a revolution, regardless of whether he did throw those games or not. Perhaps he was planning to and that just made it easier? We can only speculate in the lack of any solid facts.

Now that I think of it, he did talk up the fact that he would beat Bisu 3:0 quite highly, almost as if he deviously knew that wouldn't be the case. I actually posted in the LR thread back then under my former username (now banned) that Savior must have bet against himself, but I was just kidding around as I presumed that couldn't possibly be it (considering Bisu was able to get through Nalra). Now I'm not so sure. The situation has pretty much undercuts the validity of the SC2 pro-game scene before it's even been launched. Will enough safeguards be put into place in order to assure potential fans and sponsors that the tournaments are worth following? Will we only see team matches and no more individual leagues, given that it is harder for an entire team (that has to have players good enough to enter in the first place) to be in on a scandal? I somehow doubt ACE would be able to pull it off as no-one would bet in their favour anyway. Perhaps I'm going too far to imagine that this is enough to destroy any SC2 E-sport potential given that other sports with notorious match fixing (e.g. kickboxing) are still up and kicking. look at baseball, survived not only an entire finals being fixed but also widespread steroid abuse later on
