protoss because I find it the most interesting mirror. ZvZ is too aggresive for my liking and TvT games tend to go too long, PvP is nice in the middle though the viable strategies in it are somewhat limited.

Protoss or terran also seemed easiest to me to pick up after coming from several other RTS games, I hadn't played sc1 in a long time so zerg is more difficult to start with.Zerg's larvae macro is just so different from other RTS whereas terran and toss aren't. Zerg unfortunately also feels the most repetetive with a limited number of units early on. Terran and protoss have more/better support units that make them more interesting to me.

i play P cuz z is super gay and only way to win is to make roaches -_- and terran is too hard and too pretty :D

I'm playing random because there was a point in both starcaft and warcraft 3 where I wished I'd played random from the beginning, cuz I was getting bored.

the first streams of Sc2 i watched back in feb was Lumi/PsyonicReaver/LzGamer and they all used Terran and i liked how it worked well so i adopted it as the race of choice and it seems very enjoyable.

Played Zerg in BW and I love the new macro functions for Zerg. It just sucks that all you can do with it is mass Roach, Ling, Muta or Hydra and A-move. Sure you sometimes get the chance do do some fancy roachbomb or FG+Bling but compared to T and P Zerg is just mass and A-move. Didn't work? Well mass some more and A-move again.

Every day I think about switching to Toss but I love Zerg and I really hope that we will get something that makes our play more fun and diversed instead of the extreme streamlined choices we have today.

I picked Terran because I loved Siege Tanks in SC1 (and all of the game dynamics they influenced).

Terran!

Because it's the most complicated race. Units depend on each other moreso than in other 2 races. Unlike Protoss and Zerg which seem like hordes of evil, Terran was always reminiscent of stuff like Power Rangers, where parts combine to create something great.

Also, building shit with these new addons is weird as fuck, but rewarding - another great plus for my masohistic, do-things-hard-way personality.

I play zerg in sc2 same reason as in sc1. Overlords, they are great
