By the way. Chris Rock sucks... a lot. On topic: I certainly don't walk up to a black person and say it. But many black people don't mind if you're good friends with them and they know you're just fooling around. My English friends and I say it a lot (mostly white guys, 2 black guys won't mind the word) but never in a racist intent. It's always like "nigga outta his mind", "crazy ass nigger" or the ever so common "nigga please". The reason we say it amongst ourselves is because we know black people are sensitive about the word. Also, I am German. The majority of my good friends actually greet me with nazi, as in: "Hey nazi!" "Sup Naz (they leave out the "i" on purpose sometimes), how is it going" or "crazy nazi". It's been like this for a long time and it has never bothered me. | ||

We greet each other with "get in the oven" and other racist things. we also love jew jokes (who was the best jewish cook? hitler!). I seriously think black people just need to get over it. Every race on earth has been enslaved/mistreated at one point in time, hell there is still slavery in america today (illegal immigration from asian countries? whores? sweatshops?).. srsly its not about race anymore. | ||

Haha, we make plenty of jokes at your expense because obviously the whole jew thing goes with the german/nazi thing. Such as "What's up naz, had some jews for breakfast" or "Careful now, the naz is gonna slay some jews in anger" and stuff like that. Since you love jew jokes (may be offensive to people who aren't as lax about the whole thing!!!!) here is an all-time classic. + Show Spoiler + Why do jews have such big noses? If you dont have a negative intention behind using the word then there is no harm done. If some sizzy little faggot took offense to me saying nigger while singing a 2pac song I would have to laugh at him. No real man would be offended. | ||

Re: the OP: If you are in a car with people listening to music that everyone is okay with, and then you sing along with that music and someone becomes offended that you spoke the lyrics, something is wrong with that interaction. Talking about it is the best, and it's important; it'll make things real and safe. Going on concensus and assumptions under the banner of caution will, unsurprisingly, keep you from causing offense in most cases. But for me, if I have good friends, I would like my relationship with them to be comprised of more than "not causing offense". A lot of racism today is the result of newer generations not having deep conversations with real people about racism. It's hard, but it makes the world a better place if you just talk about it. | ||
