I for one wouldn't even watch proleague if the final games would be decided by matches like ggaemo vs hyuk. Say what you will, but fair isn't much fun. huh? Sure ace match / super ace match is FUN to watch, but the other games are fun to watch as well, JD vs Fanta sure was, eh? It's just about the fact that proleague is a TEAM league and even this team league is getting more about how well individual players might do. While there is some doubts about the fact that SK > JD or vice versa, there is little to no doubt that SK as a team is waaaay better than Hwaseung. So would your logic suggest you that Hwaseung is the better team if they go 5-7 in the whole event and only win due to JD scoring 3 times? To me it would only suggest that Jaedong is in fact an exceptionally great player, but we already know that, don't we?
Well, I just said that I don't think its more fair. It is irrelevant to me who is the better team at the end. I said its more entertaining. That's me personally.
People should just be be careful what they wish for. It's not like sending snipers out on certain maps or against certain players isn't just as indicative of a stronger team strategy, that is still a team skill. The statistics that say that SKT1 is better on paper (they are), is a pretty basic and boring indicator. Wins and losses isn't everything and I don't think it ever should be.

i´d be really disappointed though if we dont get to see any ace matches in the grand final. really a pitty that we dont face a stronger TEAM. CJ or KHAN would have put up a much better fight.

Oz's entire proleague strategy has always revolved around JD winning every match they can put him in, and hoping one of the 3 clowns on his team can pull through and luck out a win. Kind of like how Nada was with Pantech back in the day. It's no wonder that their postseason strategy would be any different.
It's a shame too, because at one point they could have had pretty much the scariest Z/P/T lineup out there, with Jaedong/Anytime/Forgg - all of whom were delivering enormous beatings at around the same time around a year ago.
You get the feeling that there was a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes that really damaged team cohesiveness.

Yeah, Jaedong/Anytime/Forgg was a ridiculously strong line-up back then

This is really stupid. Considering what they've had to work with, they have done fine. Backho was F-d up for a large part of this proleague season and HiyA was playing great in winners league and R4. The fact that Jaedong is a great player shouldn't take anything away from a team who fought tooth and nail to end up in the Grand Finals.

I enjoyed the special event matches more than the finals itself. Am I alone?
Although I wouldn't mind seeing closer, more exciting games, I'm definitely hoping SKT1 pulls away with the win tomorrow... not because I'm an SKT1 fan, but because SKT1 is obviously a much more well-rounded team than Hwaseung is. They deserve this.

To paraphrase Grandmaster Artosis, the entirety of Terran strategy for every matchup can be summarized as waiting to get enough tanks to kill an entire army in one volley. Even the short-sighted and simple Terran players can recognize such a great imbalance.
Heh heh heh.
Anyway, hoping for another rape tomorrow~

Why do SKT fans keep saying "we" as if they're part of the team...

Reasons why KT should be facing SKT instead of OZ:
It'd be an epic rematch
Oz kind of fails harder, somehow.

the pre-finals games were fun, out of the 4 games of SKT1-Oz I thought only fantasy vs JD was entertaining and the rest was either bad or one sided
also it was nice to see them being all chatty and smiling during the games
