game 1 was insane, rest were bad and disappointing

atleast we got to hear some interesting insights by the sc2gg commentaries

- Backho is either Luke Skywalker, Austin Powers or Mini Mi, whereas best is Dart Vader

- Best managed to spot the shuttle with the hts by using the force

Yea.. you never know with this "fair system"

Its funny that people complain about the system. I for one wouldn't even watch proleague if the final games would be decided by matches like ggaemo vs hyuk. Say what you will, but fair isn't much fun.

huh?
Sure ace match / super ace match is FUN to watch, but the other games are fun to watch as well, JD vs Fanta sure was, eh?
It's just about the fact that proleague is a TEAM league and even this team league is getting more about how well individual players might do.
While there is some doubts about the fact that SK > JD or vice versa, there is little to no doubt that SK as a team is waaaay better than Hwaseung.
So would your logic suggest you that Hwaseung is the better team if they go 5-7 in the whole event and only win due to JD scoring 3 times?
To me it would only suggest that Jaedong is in fact an exceptionally great player, but we already know that, don't we?

I'd love to have my earlier question answered. Right after ggaemo destroyed the spire and hyuk had 2 mutas in his nat and no other antiair, couldn't ggaemo have destroyed the 2 spores in hyuk's main?

But that would be like Cj vs Khan right? Effort winning 3 times on one day?
And i dont see anyone saying that Khan > CJ... right?

I never liked that either, except for Effort being super super good at this day.
Teamwise KHAN was at least on par with CJ in these games.
Just not with Effort.

Movie also won in ace on the first day, while i don't think hwaseung would send anyone other than JD in the ace.

Man seeing SKT1 is good, but what gets my blood boiling is that the team that just got raped hardcore denied CJ its rightful place in the finals.

You could say the same thing about CJ denoying Khan its rightful place there...

That makes no sense. However, I'd agree that Khan wouldn't have gotten raped like this on a good day due to having more viable options than OZ, so they 're a better finalist than the latter at least.

It makes perfect sense, CJ denied Khan in the same way that Oz denied CJ, with an ace player that provided the majority of their wins, even though their team was down a victory going into the super-ace match. That's what the current format supports.

So, tomorrow's games.

My take is that SKT has three in the bag, while Oz has one, with the tossups being Canata v. Backho and Thezerg v. Killer. Oz needs to win them both.

I don't think he had as many mutas as you said he had. It was probably around 8-9 and hyuk also had the 2 mutas and could continue to build spores. Constantly building spores provided a stalemate against ggaemo's mutalisks earlier when there was only one spire at a time, and this time he had an extra existing spire and two mutalisks.
